billypnats Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 I've been noticing that exporting nifs with bodyslide for clothes somehow interferes with the texture path. for example, the file here http://wtfuun.tumblr.com/post/141388817350/poser-sweet-lolita-uunp-hdt-need-this-addAdds 5 different different clothes, they all have the same mesh but the textures are different. After using bodyslide to generate nif, all five clothes defaults back to the same texture.Anyone got a fix for this?
BringtheNoise Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Mesh order - This is the Order the Meshes listed in a Nif. If the original set with 1 (pair) of nifs went order wise... Dress, Extra, Bla, bla, bla, Bodyshape. And you built a Bodyslide set with the nif order of Bodyshape, Dress, Extra, Bla, bla, bla. The esp that is looking for the Dress (or what ever the mesh is named in the nif) as the first mesh will not work. You have to have the order of the Bodyslide file match that of the original files order. Some Examples where if you have the order incorrectly the esp will not change the textures... Guard Outfits - mesh order is usually the cloth bit (that changes color) followed by the Chain mail piece and finally by the Body mesh (both UNP and CBBE variants). The Art of Magicka's Nocturnal Robes, and pretty much every other outfit that comes with that mod. The mesh order in those nif's usually goes for the part that has a color change first, then followed by other parts in the nif. So Double check the Mesh order and get them to match (use Nifscope on the nif that is in the bodyslide/shapedata folder and have the order match that of the original).
