can some1 tell me the command to teleport an npc to me? im sure this will sound hilarious but, i seem to have misplaced my wife >_> . i seriously cant  find her anywhere. i remember reading somewhere that the placeatme command just clones the npc and can make them bug

Use the -[her id].moveto player- command.

Wouldn't the person actually need to know the NPC's actual ID to do that? (i.e. see the NPC to do the console command to get their ID to then do the moveto thing?). Just asking.

EFF has a shout to call your followers, (and I assume wives),  to you. Might be worth a try,

My bad.

You're supposed to place her id at the end and no dot in the middle.

Something like : moveto player 00000000

Search for her id on the internet, because the one you get when you click on her with the console open isn't the right one.

Cheers, I wasn't sure. Anyway can't you use this as an RPG experience? (i.e. the search for lost wife. An epic journey across Skyrimland to find your long lost love. Meet interesting people, look down holes, eat sweet rolls. Isn't this is what the game is all about?).

placeatme just does a clone of the original template. You need her actual id for moveto, (i.e. you need to know that in the first place).

Anyway, as you have looked all over. She's dead. Move on.

Your epic quest concludes. You earn that used sweet roll from one of the Sexlab animations and a big hearty cheer from an array of English character actors of your choice. Chewbacca goes grrrrr, and there is much rejoicing. Queue credits.

I use the MGF Console mod for that.

It shows the ref and base id and from which mod the npc is from etc.

Pah!, you don't know your a born. Try doing a lootifcation, dyndolod build then MCM configuration and then find that one on the installed mods is bolloxed. That's what I call irritating, (although in private I use harsher terms).

As far as I know this will only work in situations where you can target the NPC in console.

In other situations TES5Edit can come to your rescue:

Load your game in TES5Edit.

Expand the mod with the custom follower (NPC)

Find the NPC and highlight that line.

In the right pane, open the 'References' tab

You will see (or there should be) a line looking like this:

(ARCH: xxyyyyyy)(Places <name> ... etc.

The 'xxyyyyyy' is the refid op your NPC.
