macnchz
Hello Community! I was hoping someone would LOVE to add HDT to this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29196/? ----- DO NOT CLICK ON AUTHOR's description page links, as they are phishing websites!!! Also fix the slot it uses... Any takers? OR send me in the direction of "how to's" to do just that! Thank you!! Link to comment

LuffMeister
The HDT cloaks mod uses the same mesh as the lady cloak. You just need to switch the textures. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72581/? Link to comment

thek8ikat
Could someone please post the HDT version? Or does switching the textures work? O.O I thought it wouldn't since textures are coded into meshes, aren't they? Link to comment
Bazinga
Textures aren't "coded into meshes", the meshes just contain path information on where to find the textures (open mesh with Nifscope -> View menu -> Block List -> Show Blocks in List -> search for BSShaderTextureSet -> compare file names and paths with real folder structure). Just try switching the textures. But since they are named differently and located in a different folder structure you have to rename the Lace Cloaks textures and move them into the Cloaks of Skyrim texture folder by hand, using the information you gained from checking out the mesh with Nifscope. So ... install this here, overwrite with this here and then overwrite the textures with the ones from Lace Cloaks. Not all of them at once, replace them one by one. You decide which textures you want for which cloak. Link to comment
