Unofficial Resolution Patch

I already have the High Res Packs, but do I need to install the Unofficial Res Patch as well?  Will I have issues if I don't or less if I don't or maybe it doesn't matter?

 

I'm just trying to elimiate any possible issues I may get with othe rmods

The patch fixes issues with the high resolution packs, so I'd install it if you have the packs.  It won't hurt anything if the patch is not there, but it's good to have.  One thing to note:  if you use ModOrganizer and you have MO manage archives (should be on by default, check the "Archives" tab on the right side), you can disable the esps for the hi res packs and for the patch, and they still apply (DO NOT disable the mods in the left pane, just the esp in the load order pane).  This is a feature with MO, I do not know if the newer NMM has this.

I suppose you don't need it however is does fix some bugs and texture issues Have a look at the mod description http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31255/? for more info on what it corrects. On a side not if you use mod organizer use the archives tab and allow MO to handle your archives on the Texture packs as well as the UHRP and untick in the plugins list those esp's.
