Lewdlingerielover Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 My First Person Cam is really messed up. If i look straight ahead i have the feeling that i'm a giant, even though im a simple nord If i look up, I legit have (the camera) eyes in the back of my head. If i look down, i have (camera) eyes in my chest. I don't know whats happened. All i know is that this happened when i downloaded Dual Sheath Redux. Please Help.
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Does the problem persist if you disable DSR? Are you using a valid skeleton.nif? What's your load order and other stuff installed? On a side note: There's a plugin out on the nexus called 'Customizable Camera', it lets you adjust the ingame camera if nothing else helps.

Comrade Isbariya Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Booo, I thought I'Ve seen some camerasettings somewhere but I must have dreamed it. I can't see anything that could be the cause for that, although I don't know every mod out there. I know that there is a mod that changes the camera for firs person view similar to what you're describing, just in a less or non disturbing way, but I don't see you using it. (Though it might have been mentioned somewhere in combination with DSR. Did you just get rid of the esp file or did you remove everything DSR added? Sounds stupid but try the following: open console, type in "tfc" to enter free cam mode, move the free cam around a bit, open the console again, type tfc again to leave free cam mode and see if the problem still persists.
Lewdlingerielover Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 Did you just get rid of the esp file or did you remove everything DSR added? I only deleted the esp :/ Uhh i got another thing for you. Everytime i start a new game, which is how i test it* My character is always looking down.
Lewdlingerielover Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 Also when i zoom out in character creation a piece of wood blocks me. Just thought you should know. Im getting real tired of the fact that i can't play skyrim due to this anymore. And i know you're helping, and i'm very thankful, im just really pissed.
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 The stuff happening during character creation seem to be related to the camera problem - or did they exist before? If you did only delete the esp you may have something of the mod left in your game that you want to get rid of first. Look at the zip or rar file of DSR you downloaded, and even if this sucks, examine your folders and delete every file contained in the archive by hand. If the problem STILL persists after that - even on a new game, you could try to check the Customizable Camera Mod from the Nexus, maybe it resets the camera somehow. :/ It would be nice if you could report back if you did what I advised you to, that makes seeking the problems foul roots a lot easier.
Lewdlingerielover Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 Ok so the camera problem (In character create) began at the EXACT same time as the problem. So they're connected. Ok After an Hour of beginning this quote (after when i told you about the camera problem ^) I have deleted every damn DSR file I am about to try downloading customizable camera now. Even though i havent checked if everything works now! So, thanks so far. (Dont leave yet please xd)
Lewdlingerielover Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 Welllllll shiiiet I downloaded Customizable camera and fiddled with it. No Luck My Camera is still trash, and i also don't want to uninstall skyrim. I guess there's nothing we can do. I'll just wait for your next reply for you to decide what to do.
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Maybe you should have checked if it worked before installing CC. xD Other than that, CC is nice to have anyway, so you're good to go anyway. I'm trying to figure out the mistakes you could have made while installing DSR. 1. Are you using any modmanager, if so, which one (and for NMM, what version, v0.5x or v0.6?) 2. Did you get a proper skeleton.nif somewhere and installed it correctly? (I can't find the XPMS.esp in your load order ) In case you want to try installing DSR anew, you can download the skeleton files here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68000 The description even provides a tutorial on running XPMSE and DSR together. If you're not using a modmanager, installation can be a little confusing, but I can help at that if necessary. 3. Did you check the patches for DSR? (There are some patches for weapon mods you may use, this is optional, but needed to show both weapons if you're wearing 2 of the same kind on your back for example, as the built-in patcher only covers skyrims default weapons and a few more. (You'd need a patch for Magicka Sabers if you're using them btw) 4. Did you run the built-in patcher AND FNIS with the plugin active but before starting the game? Well so far for the troubleshooting - if you're not too fed up with DSR already, because it's actually a pretty nice to have mod if installed correctly. EDIT: blaaaaargh... well... for the camera... *sighs* I'll go and check something So wait for my next edit then xD EDIT2: Okay, 2 more things I found so far. First one is: Switch to 3rd person camera, open the console, type in FOV, hit enter, close the console and go back to first person camera, see if the problem persists. (FOV should reset your camera angle) Second is, did you, by any chance try to instal XP32 Maximum Skeleton (the version prior to XPMSE) through a mod manager and hit 'yes' on "the joy of perspective" by accident? It seems that installing the patch while not using the actual mod causes that kind of misbehavior too.
Lewdlingerielover Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 Err, i dont download dual sheath redux because i cant figure out how to fucking use Java Runtime Environment. Everytime i download java and try to use it, i dont know how. When i download XpMs , i cant find it in mod organizers plugins... I use Mod Organizer btw..' Um.. no i didnt run the patcher, because java is a cunt (Read Above on Line #1) Uh the Fov Thing didnt work sadly.. ;(
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Don't expect stuff to work if you don't meet the requirements. Well... what OS are you on? 32 or 64bit? Usually, there shouldn't be any problem installing JRE, if you know which version to get. o.o ...doh... just checked the ORACLE page and it sucks. It won't even let me download JRE lol... Buuuut I never got it from Oracle directly anyway. First of all, if you don't know if you're running a 32bit (x86) or 64bit OS (x64), hit the windows button on your keyboard, type 'system' and click on the proper entry, it shows your OS and bits. Second, if ORACLE is a bitch for you too, just google 'Java Runtime Environment 8' and, according to your System, '32bit' or '64bit'. I don't know where you are from, but over here in Germany there are several sources you can download it from. Usually, you should be downloading an installer that downloads the whole Java stuff to your PC without any problems at all. So far for that one. I've never heard of Java not installing for any reason. Then, do you mean XPMS or XPMSE? There's a difference - plus the first one can mess up your camera if installed improperly. (Not sure if XPMS even has an esp file or MCM menu, or if it only comes with skeleton files and other stuff. The latter could be the reason why MO doesn't show a plugin. Well, try to get Java running first, then try to get rid of any installed files of XPMS (Or XPMSE if it is what you meant and MO doesn't show a plugin). In order to use XPMSE you would have to install 'realistic ragdolls and force' too. It's linked on the requirements page of XPMSE that I provided. The whole process sounds horribly complicated, but it isn't, if done step by step. In case you don't want to fiddle around with the whole stuff anymore - just try to get rid of any remaining files your XPMS or XPMSE download left in your MO folders and reinstall it. IF you're using XPMSE(xtended) make sure you meet its requirements first, before reinstalling it. The only reason I see for your camera issues is an improper installation of XPMS right now. Buuut as you're using OSA and stuff you will need a proper skeleton.nif for it to work.
PsychoMachina Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I use these to fix the 1st-person and 3rd-person cameras. Enhanced 3rd Person Camera http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29990/? Enhanced Camera (1st person) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57859/? As for your situation with JRE, there is a portable JRE and Java app launcher which I use on my laptop because it does not have Java. I have not tested with DSR only with an ENB manager which is a java app. JPortable (portable JRE; for running java apps) http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/java_portable JPortable Launcher (for selecting and launching java apps) http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/java_portable_launcher Don't worry about the '.paf.exe' extension as this is for the portableapps launcher. These are no different than self-extracting archives. Double-click on the JPortable or JPortable Laucher executables and select a location to install the files. You do not need to install the portable app launcher, but it does come in handy if you are using Skyrim-related tools (ex. ENB manager, nifscope) or portable modding tools (ex. xBlender) that do not require installation. JPortable requires you create a folder called 'CommonFiles' then a subfolder called 'Java'. Does not matter where, but I suggest in your root folder (C:/). If using the portable apps launcher then the folders are included. Install JPortable in the CommonFiles folder. JPortable Launcher can be installed along side with JPortable. Now all you have to do is launch 'JavaPortableLauncher.exe', go to where you want to launch the JAR file and open that file. Like I mentioned before, I have not tested with DSR. If it does not work then the it's likely the DSR patcher can't find the portable JRE. I'm not all that familiar with launching apps with parameters, but you might need to have the patcher find and use the portable JRE.
Lewdlingerielover Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 Ok so i Use Xpms , and i've deleted all my files on it, And reinstalled. No fix yet... ugh. Im not gonna bother downloading java cause it might just piss me off. So, I use Xpms, I already have Enhanced Camera on 1st Person, not getting it for 3rd. I don't even know how to use Java, i tried to reproc shit, but because of java i couldnt. that may be the problem *shrug*
Cyan Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 try uninstalling enhanced 1st person camera and see if it makes a difference? i also had (small) alignment problems with it
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Ok so i Use Xpms , and i've deleted all my files on it, And reinstalled. No fix yet... ugh. I don't even know how to use Java, i tried to reproc shit, but because of java i couldnt. that may be the problem *shrug* You don't need to know how to 'use' Java. I don't even know that myself. xD The only thing you need to know is how to double click a simple application, that's all. THat is, once you installed the Java stuff in the first place. x) After installing it is... there... somewhere... handling your Java applications if you start them. You can try the 'to go' version PsychoMachina pointed out if you can't find an installer that works for you. (which is strange.) So if you're using XPMS and it is not the 'joy of perspective' patch then things are getting really hairy. If it's not the 1st person cameramod then, I'm really running out of ideas.
ZoanChrome Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 have you tried downloading someone's save and see if it's affected (clean one)?wait a minute... Why do you have Character making extender??? You're using Racemenu didn't you? Character making extender is for ECE, did you use ECE before Racemenu?
Lewdlingerielover Posted July 21, 2016 Author Posted July 21, 2016 have you tried downloading someone's save and see if it's affected (clean one)? wait a minute... Why do you have Character making extender??? You're using Racemenu didn't you? Character making extender is for ECE, did you use ECE before Racemenu? I use race menu, but didn't dual sheath say you needed Character Making EXtender? i watched some dickheads video on how to install DSR so i think he told me to install it
ZoanChrome Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 well, i use DSR without using character making extender and no problem (well at first i'm too impatient and abort in the middle of DSR patching, thinking it's not responding)then how about disabling the esp, see if it works( if not, uninstall character making extender, racemenu says it's not compatible with ECE maybe also with it's component) another info: see the mod's page other than someone's video for a 'how to install' thingies
ZoanChrome Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Mmk xD Fuck Dsr Anyway does this fixed the problem?
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 You definitely don't need Character Making Extender in order to get DSR working. All you need is Skyrim off course, SKSE, SkyUI, a proper skeleton (XPMS/XPMSE) and according to the skeleton you chose realistic ragdolls and force (for XPMSE)! And maybe some DSR patchfiles for weapon mods you may use. (While this is only if you want to apply them to their new location correctly, especially if using 2 of the same kind!) It's really not that hard to install, but you shouldn't fiddle around with it unless you do not meet the requirements! (Damn f**kin' JRE8!) The patcher jar file is there for a reason! You don't need to bother installing DSR at all, if you can't get its full functionality due to the lack of Java, which the patcher will NOT work without! And first of all you may want to fix your camera by any means. One thing after another Something must be causing the issue - it's just finding out what it is. (I know it's painful) but as ZoanChrome said, get rid of the Character Making thing that belongs to ECE. If it fixes the problem or not.
Lewdlingerielover Posted July 21, 2016 Author Posted July 21, 2016 Ok update here. I have disabled all of my plugins, except for Aslal and fnis, among my sexlab shit. I still have the Camera issue. IDK what this means, so ill leave it to the smart people to figure it out.
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Well... that makes it either related to your savegame,, or to some odd remains of mods you previousely used. Have you tried starting a new game with your reduced modlist? Does the problem still exist on a fresh start? o.o
Perri2G Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 This looks like what happens when you go into first person mode, THEN turn on Immersive First Person. Or if I tried to scroll in or out of 1st or 3rd person with some first person mods. It's honestly been two years since I've seen something like this, so my advice my be bad, and only relevant to older versions of mods. The fix for me was to turn off any first person mods, then make sure I'm in third person, then turn the first person mods on. Or just tap whatever hotkey you use to go from first to third person with your First Person mod. Go into your mod manager to find out what that button is.
