Camera Mess-Up

This looks like what happens when you go into first person mode, THEN turn on Immersive First Person. Or if I tried to scroll in or out of 1st or 3rd person with some first person mods. 

It's honestly been two years since I've seen something like this, so my advice my be bad, and only relevant to older versions of mods. 

 

The fix for me was to turn off any first person mods, then make sure I'm in third person, then turn the first person mods on. Or just tap whatever hotkey you use to go from first to third person with your First Person mod. Go into your mod manager to find out what that button is.

Im going to try it with enhanced camera now, cause its nearly impossible to use bows with immersive first person.

Nvm Update.

SO apparently immersive first person camera, is the only thing that makes my camera work.

 

So even without enhanced camera, My First person View is still shit.

 

So that means with Enhanced camera, and also with NOT A SINGLE 1ST PERSON VIEW MOD, MY CAMERA IS STILL BROKEN

I've read about that weird issue and the rather amusingly simple fix. Also, if you try to disable imersive 1st person cam, make sure you're in 3rd person mode before you save to turn it off, and go back into your game. Disabling it while in 1st person mode leads to the same mess again.

 

Well if things are still messed up... and you can't find the culprit I'm afraid you'll have to uninstall and reinstall everything. >.< 

If you have to: someone did post a perfect guide yesterday, that I haven't found myself yet, but it seems to cofver all and everything about a stable installation. (not including you messing around with mods ) 

 

Also, I'd suggest that upon reinstalation, you install one mod at a time (of those that you might consider being the cause for all of that shit) and use a copy of your current savegame to see if they work,., not the one you want to play on later on (or start a new game once you're sure that it works the way you set it up!)

Should you decide to do a clean installation and are still willing to use DSR, I'm happily willing to help you install it properly as I couldn't live without it.

 

I hate bows, btw... I just can't aim with them... I prefere magic if I'm forced into ranged battle. x)

Well shit. I wonder if there's a way to figure out how to remember all my mods. Thanks for trying to help tho. Immersive first person camera fixes it, but i just hate that mod so god damn much.

Well you do have your loading order as a txt file, no?  

You can go from there to try and get your mods back if that's your problem.

If you download from the nexus, there's a download history to easily redownload your stuff. 

 

And here's what I do: Create a folder named "Mods Backup" or whatever you want to call it somewhere you remember where you left it (I threw it into Steams game directory next to Skyrim itself.) and put every zip or rar file of mods you download AND install into it. 

Create a second folder within the same directory or the backupfolder and name it something like 'inactive', for example Mods Backup (inactive), w/e you want und put every zip or rar file of the mods in there, that you downloaded, have installed but are not currently using. 

It helps if you rename the packed files if their names are confusing.Same goes for ModXYZ_patch.rar or zip files, rename them to match the original plugins packed file name, so that you can find them ASAP if you have to reinstall anything.

 

That helps a lot if you screwed up your Skyrim bad enough for it to need a clean install while maintaining the actual plugins you were using. Plus you don't have to get a headache by trying to find and redownload everything you were using. (That prevents losing mods that suddenly disappear from their download pages, too.) Just don't forget to exchange older versions for new ones if you should ever upgrade a mod and you'll be fine.
