Skyrim Meshes to Blender

I need a detailed guide on how to import Skyrim's .nif into Blender (I have both versions, 2.4 and 2.7 including the .nif import/export scripts) I did Fallout mesh editing for a long while now, but Skyrim seems to be a lot different on the import part.

If anybody knows anything, please leave a post below.

Thanks.

You can export file parts from a nif using nifskope. Open skyrim nif click a armor piece and go to file - export - export .OBJ or export .DAE.

If you export using .OBJ the skinning will be removed as .OBJ format doesn't support it so item will be exported in it's bind pose without skin weights. .DAE format exports everything that is attached to the item.

You could also try clicking on scene root then file - export and pick one this will export everything in the nif. .OBJ files like this will not work in outfit studio the mesh will blow up.

Thanks, I'll try, but I was actually hoping for a detailed guide, or a video link - I myself, am searching for it atm, but I thought I might as well ask on the forums, seeing the amount of modders and 3D modellers present.
