What is causing my game to crash after installing an ENB?

This is the load order copied from LOOT. If anyone can identify which of these cause a crash with ENB, Bleak to be exact, please help. I am using MO so I checked all the mods under environment and visuals and I couldn't find the cause. I also tried launching the game without any mods through MO and it works. Also why are some mods in this list without a number? What does it mean? I also recently have problems with "RaceMenuMorphs", I think it was called Bodyslide? Where do I put it in the load order?

Ones without a number look like they are things like patches some are fixes. Is the crash at the Beth logo? If so try running TES5EDIT and see if there is a missing master or a master is below the one needing it to be above it in the load order.

what enb are you using? maybe double check you've made the correct .ini adjustments and have any listed requirements installed.

 

afaik an enb shouldnt cause crashes because they dont have .esm dependencies and dont conflict with data files. you most likely have

conflicting mods or missing .esm, correct me if im wrong. try disabling a couple at a time until you find the problem.

 

also loot isnt perfect it might place specific mods where they shouldnt be

It's during loading, not a missing master.  

I'm using Bleak ENB and I have the requirements, as I wrote above it runs when all the mods are disabled. However, when I have my mods on it crashes. Game works with all mods but no ENB, although after my 5 days vacation not so stable for some reason. It's like it broke because it wasn't played, and it was one of the reasons why I installed the ENB in the first place. I'm afraid I can't correct you because I don't know myself xD It's strange how starting a new game works without the ENB with the mods, but also with the ENB without the mods.

If the ENB works with mods turned off then that would probably point to one of your mods causing it. I would start turning a few mods off at a time then go into game and try and keep doing this till your game doesn't crash. Then turn one of the mods back from the last group that you turned off and keep doing it till it crashes again then you will know which one is the culprit and also know which one to remove. Make sure if you turn a mod off that has a master that you turn the master off as well to prevent a crash.

 

I would start with further dark dungeons for ENB.esp and see if it's conflicting with bleak ENB.

I would too, if it wasn't suggested/required. I will try what you suggested, but right now it is 6am so I'd rather do that tomorrow lol.

Something that is suggested isn't a requirement it's just something they think will make something better and you have a choice if you want to use a suggested mod or not.

I did actually, but it was some time ago and I don't remember it. But you got a point.
