prinyo Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 CK crashes a lot. But before you try again find the file SkyrimEditor.ini in the main Skyrim folder. Open it with notepad and under [General] add bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 Try opening the file several times until it opens it. Eventually it will work.

prinyo Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Yes, CK will open also Skyrim.esm but you don't need to select it.
cleavagesweat Posted June 10, 2016 Author Posted June 10, 2016 Yes, CK will open also Skyrim.esm but you don't need to select it. so what do u think that error means? is my version of CK the latest? 1.9.36.0
prinyo Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I have the same CK. Keep trying to open the esm file it should work.
ZelenEagle Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 don't worry about errors, they happen all the time in CK
cleavagesweat Posted June 10, 2016 Author Posted June 10, 2016 it keeps getting that (TES Shared\misc\BGSLocalizedString.ccp) error. there is not way around or past the close program popup http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/864950841120542497/ check that out...
prinyo Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Are you trying to open also some of the DLCs? Check this - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21690/? Try to open only this file. Double click the BBLuxurySuite.esm and click OK. Then Ignore or Yes to all on all messages.

cleavagesweat Posted June 10, 2016 Author Posted June 10, 2016 GOT IT!!!! that link has it but i'll put it right here: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ edit: OK. I can't read tonight. Without the DLC installed, try verifying the cache. Go to Tools, right click on the Creation Kit / Properties/ Local Files / Verify Integrity of Tool Cache.Setting bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 under [General] in your SkyrimEditor filemay also help you.I'll leave the rest in case someone else has the same issuewith Dawnguard and Hearthfire installed. Doh.Find the SkyrimEditor file in your Skyrim folder (where TESV.exe is) and search for SResourceArchiveList2 and add Dawnguard.bsa and Hearthfires.bsa.Should look like this:SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, HearthFires.bsaThen, find bAllowMultipleMasterLoads= and set it to 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- this is what fixed it for me in the Skyrimeditor.ini SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, HearthFires.bsa
prinyo Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 So it was the "Verify Integrity" that did the magic :-) I don't think it is the added DLC's to the list. I don't have them in my ini and I have no problems opening the BBLS esm.
cleavagesweat Posted June 10, 2016 Author Posted June 10, 2016 ... the more i get into this modding world the more i don't get it...
cleavagesweat Posted June 10, 2016 Author Posted June 10, 2016 btw does anyone know what setting NPCs as spouses does? does it do anything?
ZelenEagle Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 yes, this makes them the wife/ husband of the child NPC you set them to
cleavagesweat Posted June 10, 2016 Author Posted June 10, 2016 right but does it change their in-game behavior?
prinyo Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I was about to ask the same thing. What does it matter if they are married?
ZelenEagle Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 yea, if you set it to something else like parent for example, they'll act like the parents of the child npc, it's the relationship between the npcs and i think thats the way to get them married, you can try not turning it off and seeing if anything else happens though if your really wanna find out if it does anything
prinyo Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Hmmm, it seems I caused the confusion about the DLCs... I have an older version of BBLS that doesn't require Hearthfire that's why I'm able to open it without the ini settings for the DLCs. Sorry about the confusion :-(
