Not really a problem.. FoMM is just being silly

Well this started when I deleted my install folder to replace it with a previous backup of said folder after installing like 15gb worth of mods all at once without testing as i went (lol.) Basically I thought I broke FoMM, and I kinda did :P

Cant remember his name, but someone from LL made his own version of FoMM (v14 something), supposed to have some edge over the more common version (v13 something)  coz of something to do with .dlls or something.. I'll cut to the chase: I have to only use v14 to add packages to the package manager, then i have to close v14 and open v13 to activate it.. if i do it any differently than that I get errors and crashes like "something bad happened" or, "file already exists" and "coudn't find path /xxxx/xxxx/xxxx.nif" or similar. I sometimes get an oddball error, like I just tried to install tailor maid (clothing pieces, able to combine in unique ways.) but i had the error "file exists." In this case I had accidentally installed just the esp patch to remove all stats including weight from the items first, and then an addon to add black retextures, and put both in a merged plugin before realizing i needed to add the main file that contained the required meshes.. i ended up having to move the meshes manually.. so it works, but its not really following my best practices. (speaking of which i just made my first merged patch today, after mostly successfully installing 200 mods, merged down to 141.. was trying to see if i could go without it but i guess that was silly xD)

anyway.. dont really need help unless anyone has any jems of wisdom.. just rambling :3
