Weapon Scale Issue

When my weapon is sheathed, its normal but when its unsheathed it shrunk in size.

I didn't seem to pay much attention until I realized the handle of the blade is short and didn't reach my character's 2nd hand for the grip.

Makes me wonder what caused this.

I reinstalled the XPMSE to the latest and sadly, it does not fix the issue since nothing is overwriting it.

Well thats annoying, the Staves shrunk like a mofo and I ended up holding it on the very top.

Goes into its normal size when I attack and shrinks back if it idles.

Manual, NMM, or MO installation?

 

Manual and NMM. 

Though I don't think it would make much difference though since the most complicated things such as XPMSE gets installed via NMM and something simple like weapon mods get installed via Manual.

 

 

 

 

I reinstalled the XPMSE to the latest and sadly, it does not fix the issue since nothing is overwriting it.

My response:

- I turned off Player Size Adjuster via MCM, as I once had issue with it during FPS mode.

- I installed it correctly with XPMSE for AGO

- I don't use FNIS PCEA since I have issues with it. So I used the standard "PCEA - 0 - DG and DB DLC - All Races.esp" as a replacement.

- I took out the combat mods, it appears they don't affect the scaling of weapons. 

- I also used "Female Weapon Scale Fix" but that made the scaling worse when I swing the weapon. 

 

I'm not sure if this is a player issue or a mod issue.

Just open a session, play a bit and make sure the issue is happening (so the event gets registered), close the game and check this folder:

 

C:\Users\Steelhekate\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script

 

You should have a papyrus.0.log from your last game.

Here we go.

Used the Forsworn Staff to do the scale thingy.

 

The only thing i see spaming your papyrus is ultimate combat but no weapon scaling is mentioned anywhere.

 

 

When in game, draw your weapon (so the bug occurs), down the console, click on your self and check for any "acive effects" (or "spells" for that matter) on you that could mention "weapon scaling"

XPMSE should show twice (check if they look like these) but look for any other effect

- Does your XPMSE have the similar values compared with the screenshot?

 

 

I saw it as "Weapon style scaling effect" and the values that are different is "SpellID" and "Elapsed".

Almost similar to your screenshot.

Well, i have no news from you. Dont know if you solved it or you just gave up. 

Anyway, i just saw this http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2983-nio-diagnostic/ and reminded me of this thread

 

 

I tested the Weapon Fixes Remade and err...it doesn't fix the scaling issue. It still persists.

I will try the Nio diagnostic. Although I don't understand what it does, I read it over multiple times and I still don't quite get it.

 

Sorry for not answering and the such, I was pre-occupied that I haven't got around to playing Skyrim lately.
