OH1972 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Of late, I sometimes get an "Out of Memory" crash after playing for a while - didn't have this before. What strikes me as weird is that looking at the performance monitor of the Task Manager, it doesn't look like my memory was anywhere near max in the minutes preceding the crash. Would appreciate if anyone could help me getting rid of this problem.
ToJKa Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Well, FNV is a 32bit program, so it can only use... what was it, ~2.8GB? Total system RAM doesn't matter, it is unable to use more than that. Anyway, the solution is to use the 4GB loader: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35262/?. Of course it can still crash if it exceeds that, but that should last for a good while.

Ah, thanks for reminding me. I thought I was already using it, but as it turned out, having been away from the game for a bit, I was using the wrong executable in Mod Organizer to launch the game! At least I hope that was the issue
