JRCosta Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I'm having a CTD always in the same location (approaching Geirmunds Hall) possibly due to a corrupt mesh. After uninstalling mods that could affect the area, the error persists so I'm using the crash log to track down the mesh. With this information it is possible to know the object using TES5Edit? I read about a Build Reference Info, but how exactly does that work? Thanks in advance.
JRCosta Posted June 2, 2016 Author Posted June 2, 2016 Alright, I found the bugged mesh but for some reason when I rename it and use the one packed inside the meshes.bsa the error persists. Anyone has any idea what should I do? Reinstall everything?
Mookeylama Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 sorry i'm no help but i'm curious about this as i used to crash around there too. what are you using to generate that crash log? i didn't know we could get crash logs like that
JRCosta Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 Hi Mookeylama. Install Crash Fixes & SKSE Plugin Preloader and the message will pop-up on some CTD (let's hope you never saw it ). Meanwhile the issue is gone, I couldn't find out what mod caused it since uninstalling a mod and test it was too tedious, I was checking after removing 8/9 mods at once and it eventually worked. Now time to reinstall
