Do adults use the children beds or can only kids sleep in them? in hearthfire you can build kids beds in the bedroom but i don't plan on having any kids so can the adults use them or will they just be unused? i'm not gonna build them if only kids can use them.

setownership <ID>

Sets ownership of the targeted item.

You can set the owner of the targeted item with a faction ID or a character's base ID. If you don't add the parameter, the default owner would be yourself. This can be used to remove the "stolen" tag from any items. Simply drop the item on the ground, open the console, click on the item, and enter the command. It can be difficult to select certain items. If the displayed ID code does not begin with "ff", you have not selected an item, but rather an object in the world (ground texture, light, container, etc.). Can also be used to remove the "owned" attribute of beds and gain the ownership of a stolen horse.

so basically unless you set ownership then they won't use them? and if you do set ownership they will use them but their feet will hang off the edge of the bed... lol

Or you can use "clearownership" on the bed instead. NPCs can sleep in a bed if its not owned by someone else or if they are the owner or they are a member of the owner faction.

If you want to assign a specific bed to a specific NPC, you can use "setownership <NPC_BASE_ID>". NPC_BASE_ID is the base ID (not the ID you see when you click on them!) of bed owner.

If you want to keep a private bed for yourself, you can use "setownership 7", 7 is the base ID of the player character.

Now, keep in mind that you can always add beds by using the "placeatme <FURNITURE_ID> 1" command. In other words, you don't have to build child beds.

so how do you set ownership for a doublebed? it seems like only one person can own it? i'm trying to get 2 ppl to sleep in the same bed but when i set ownership for one it seems to negate the other NPC ownership as it seems they avoid the bed?

you can move furniture (and delete it) with jaxonz positioner

deleting is also possible with the console but you can't move it around with that so installing that mod is probably easier

Zelen - thanks for the mod tip it works AWESOME!

here is what i made in Falkreath after 5 mins of installing this mod...
