Sural Argonus Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Ok. So I've been fighting with some problems since reinstalling Windows. Skyrim's been acting pretty flakey. So I decided to reinstall it. Uninstalled the mods, and uninstalled the game. Redownloaded it and went thru the long process of reinstalling all my mods carefully. (I have reduced my mod usage from 240 to about 175 now)Ran LOOT, ran FNIS. Came up with no errors. ran Skyrim, opened my save. T-Pose...Reinstalled anims, ran FNIS. Still T-Pose.Uninstalled FNIS. Reinstalled. Ran FNIS. (made triple sure it is being run as ADMIN) Still T-Pose.Installed FNIS manually. Made sure every thing is in it's absolutely correct location. Reinstalled ALL animation related mods (including skeleton last) again and then ran FNIS. Still T-Pose, even on a brand new character.Attaching generator log and load order if it helps anyone. It reports no errors. I have no idea what is going on here. It is perplexing me. I am about to give up on Skyrim for a while because of this. :/ Tired of messing with it. RedMonika Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Did you try without the exclusive path? I know you did a lot of troubleshooting so far and I know how tedious it is - trust me - but have you just installed your alt start mods and then the animations to see?
srayesmanll Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 FNIS show installing PCEA2, but your load order shows original PCEA still installed. They are not compatible. You need to choose one or the other (PCEA2 is the better choice, by the way). This may not be the true source of your issue, but it is a definite issue. EDIT - by the way, if you are using the HighResTexturePacks, I'd suggest getting the UHRP (unofficial HR Texture Patch). This was not merged into USLEEP and fixes some issues with the HRTPs. Not part of your issue, just a suggestion.
Sural Argonus Posted May 26, 2016 Author Posted May 26, 2016 I have PCEA? What?Did that come in the XP32 New Animation Package? Did I forget to uncheck that? ...Lemme double check on that...If that's all it is I am gonna kick my own ass. ***Edit*** Apparently when I installed the package this time, I forgot to scroll down all the way to the bottom. I forgot that the PCEA stuff was there and I had to click "Vanilla" to stop PCEA from installing. *eyeroll* Stupid mistakes get me every time. Thanks for the extra sets of eyeballs taking a look.As for the rez packs. Not sure I can handle them just yet. I run a Geforce 640 and only have 8GB RAM right now. I have a Motherboard on order (should arrive in a few days) that will let me put my 16GB back in tho.My computer is barely handling Tetrachroma ENB right now...

BTW - Love that movie... As for the hi rez texture packs, you have the official ones installed already: ... 23 17 HighResTexturePack01.esp 24 18 HighResTexturePack02.esp 25 19 HighResTexturePack03.esp ... What I'm talking about is the Patch put out by Arthmoor (and group) that do the USLEEP (and the previous USKP, UDGP, etc) patches. It specifically fixes some issues in those official texture packs. Another suggestion - are you using Mod Organizer? If so and because of the way it handles mods, you can actually disable the HRTP esps (and the UHRP.esp if you install it) but it will still use the textures. MO handles the .bsa files just like loose files, so the empty esp files (the HRTP esps are completely empty) are not needed to use the textures. This will free up esp slots. Haven't used the newest NMM so I don't know if it has similar functionality.

Haven't used the newest NMM so I don't know if it has similar functionality. I don't use MO. I don't like it. Never have. Fought with it for a couple weeks. Just didn't like the way it was set up. I use NMM. It doesn't treat the BSAs like MO, that I am aware of. I am not that advanced of a User, so MO is more than I need. I don't understand most of it's features, and I have no need for them anyway. NMM is plenty for my needs. Does exactly what I need, and the only time it screws up is when *I* am the cause... Oh. That patch. I wasn't aware of that patch. Thought you were referring to something else. Guess I can put it in. Now to see if the main reasons I ended up reinstalling were resolved...If not...then I really am done with Skyrim for a while. Because I have no clue what to do next. Most of these are all mods I've used before, but I have vanilla quests that were bugged and not triggering. Thane quests and stuff. I just really don't know what to do next. I've done everything else I found by googling except extracting scripts from the BSAs...but I don't even know where they are...as I said, not that advanced of a user, and really don't have the patience to dig for them.
srayesmanll Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 NMM works perfectly fine (at least the last one I used did, which was right before they added the profile stuff in - version 60+). Trust me, I'm not a MO fanboy. My personal feeling is "if the mod manager you use works for you, great - use it." The only reason I even tried MO is that I built a new game machine and since I had to reinstall a lot of stuff anyway, I figured it was a good time to try it. The STEP guide was a huge help with getting MO up and running for me (linked in my sig). If it wasn't for the new box, I'd probably still be running NMM (and happily). NMM works fine, MO works fine (as mentioned, steeper learning curve, but once learned it actually is no harder to use that NMM). Hell, people are happy using wrye bash (smash, flash, crash, whatever). Whatever works for you, use it. Speaking of Wrye (B/Fl/Sm/Cr)ash --- Download it and learn to use it's bash patching feature. It merges leveled lists from the active mods, plus it will automatically merge some simple mods into it's bashed patch. This can also free up some esp slots, plus merging the leveled list. Not sure if you were already familiar with it since there was no bashed patch in your load order.

Had a bunch of weapon mods that seemed to mesh well together bashed together to save slots, but never bothered going back. Wondered how bashing simple follower mods together would work since I am such a companion-a-holic....haha
