spoonsinger Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 "English is difficult .... Koreans learning English for about 12 years ...." UK peeps get forced to learn French for about 4 years, (might be less nowadays). Considering 1/3rd of our words are from Normandy/French, good luck in finding anybody who can speak it to any extent other than saying hello, goodbye or where is the cat cheese? (Mind we can misappropriate words and grammar from different cultures on a whim and incorporate seamlessly into common parlance. So it's not really that much of a problem unless you use a form of state sanctioned linguistics which doesn't conform to 'carry on' film humor). ps "A lot of alcohol" is fine as long as you don't post gibberish. Errmmm, Yeh tomorrows Thursday, the holy day of thirst. Let's celebrate.
