ilo4 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 So i'm trying to learn my way around the creation kit and made my first simple mod; Talk to npc, go fetch some vodka, bring it to her; Now I was wondering if there are any opensource mods/projects. I don't have the skills atm to create a full blown mod at my own, but would like to help where I can, to get more experience with the CK.

Unless I'm mistaken about scripts, pretty much all mods for Fallout are open source as far as being able to open them. Take ideas and parts of other peoples scripts but just give credit and thanks and don't re-label someone else's work as your own.

Don't know if it will be like Skyrim, but the tendency so far was that modders on LL usually include source code and more or less liberal permissions to re-use the code . Modders on...other sites...often didn't. If that will be the same for FO4, just get some mods from this site when they start to appear (mind you the CK for FO4 is still really new, so we don't have a lot of code yet) and starting reading some code.
