Gothfather Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 The How to install Sexout thread appears to be out of date and i have a few questions about the instructions for clairification. You will also need Fallout Mod Manager and Mod Configuration Menu to adjust settings Do you have to use Fallout Mod Manager or can use use Nexus Mod manager? And the link to the Mod Configuration Menu is dead. So is there an alternative? I haven't attempted any installation of sexout and I installed lovers with pk without any difficulty so I am not new to "complex" installations. That said I am unfamilliar with nexus mod manager with regards to backwards compatability with bethesdas older games. My assumption is that using nexus mod manager would be fine for sexout. But given that the mod confiuration menu link is dead and that is needed in addition to Fomm I thought I 'd ask at the same time. What does the Mod Configuration Menu do?
zippy57 Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 It's not dead, it just got shortened...somehow. So it's not dead, just broken. There's a distinction, I'm sure of it. MCM is here. You need it to change settings for the individual mods in-game. Regarding FOMM vs. NMM, they're pretty much the same thing with different names and a horribly broken update checker. So yes, NMM should work just as well as FOMM.
