human3166 Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Hello, good people. I'm trying to figure this out because I'm too lazy to just nuke the entire game am start again from the ground up. I've started a new game with live another life and i've selected the captured dreams option, where you start as a slave there. The problem is that my character gets paralysed and stays like that forever. I've noticed multiple paralysis effects. When one or two are over, others take their place and I can't do anything. I have restarted the game a few times until the effect didn't come. I've done a few quests, but when I came back at the shop, I got paralysed again. Maybe it's from a piece of custo captured dreams devices? I'll keep digging.
Nazzzgul666 Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Didn't check if Captured Dreams was updated recently, if your version is 3.84: At least it sounds like some ingame paralysis spell? If you really have a magical effect, that's not added by Captured Dreams, check for mod conflicts. If there is no magical effect but disabled player controls: They are buggy sometimes, but usually you just have to wait some time until something happened, like an NPC (which might need to walk to you first) finished takling or such. If there is a new version you're playing, better ask in the support forum of CD.
Veladarius Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I am guessing you have a collar on? Any attacks on major npc's will paralyze you, unfortunately some mods use a cloak spell to detect things around them and they are set up as an attack spell not something harmless. As I remember there is a mod that one of the options is that nudity is a crime, that option would set it off (not Cursed Loot, an older mod).

I have a good feeling about this. All you should need to do is make being nude not a crime as I understand. I am not sure why the cloak was set up as an attack not as healing or something else, it can cause other sorts of issues as well.
human3166 Posted May 13, 2016 Author Posted May 13, 2016 Yep, SexCrime is indeed the culprit. I've uninstalled it and I don't seem to get paralysed anymore. I'll keep testing. I will reinstall it and unset nudity as a crime. Thanks again for the help.
