[CK2] New to the game, which adult mods should I use?

As I stated in the title, I want to get into CK2 modding. Those of you that have the game and mod it a lot, what mods should I get? And are there any mods that you can't play the game without?

There isn't really a limit on adult mod content for me if that helps, as long as it's not vore / furry / cp, I'm fine with it.

Exactly, though I know I am not at all qualified to do that. Hopefully someone will come along and make an ultimate modding guide for it or something. Though that would likely take a lot of time...

Most of the CK2 adult mods I've found are relatively incomplete. There are 3 notable ones that I'm aware of and I find that they mostly don't work with each other very well.

Dark World: Reborn of course is the one that should be most familiar to people on this site. It's one of the most trending topics on the general adult games forum here and it's growing fast. Plus it's modular, so you can include the parts you like without the parts you don't. It adds traits for breast and dick size as well as adding demons, werewolves, vampires, slavery and prostitution, though it is very much a work in progress at the current moment and is probably not finished enough that I would recommend using it for your first foray into Crusader Kings 2

 

Christianity mod is relatively new and also on this forum. It only received an initial release in the past week or so but I've been enjoying it thoroughly. The concept with that one is that catholicism took a different bent over history, women aren't treated with the same distaste as historically they were and neither is sexuality. So now lust is a virtue, chastity is a sin, adultery is encouraged, and prostitution is holy. Like Dark World: Reborn, it adds breast size traits to the game, but not dick size traits.

 

The last one is semi-abandoned and a little out of the way as you'll have to go to hypnopics-collective to find it and then dig through the thread to find the most recent version. It's called Arglwydd and it's a mind control mod and it's very good. Down sides, other than it being abandoned, are that it's basically a cheat mod and will make the game way too easy, also the mind control is only available to male rulers, so if you're into femdom at all you're out of luck.

 

Due to how incomplete all of these are, I highly recommend getting into CK2 through the base game first or looking at non-adult mods like the ridiculously amazing Game of Thrones mod.

Similiar to Christianity is Sexual Crusaders. The main feature is that big religions have a new sexualized version of itself. Sadly it is a bit outdated.

 

Then there is the old Dark World Mod. It is not modular like Dark World Reborn but it has some features that are to be added to Reborn. I doubt that the mod is compatible with 2.5 but it is a great starting point.

 

And then there is King of Slaves and Vices Mod which has a big emphasy on slavery as the title suggests. Never played it, so I cannot say much about it.

That explains why it's in such an advanced state. You'll have to excuse me, most of my experience with CK2 modding is with non-sexual mods. May need to take a peak at some of the others you mentioned.

Yes, Christianity is actually the adult mod that inspired me to being making Dark World. genericlogin has done wonderful work with it, it just has such a huge game changing impact, that I only activate it for specific play sessions. But still, I recommend folks give it a whirl.

Some of the non-adult focused mods have some neat NSFW content. The most prominent one would be the Warhammer Fantasy mod Gehiemnisnacht. Playing a Slaaneshi-aligned ruler is a blast with some great events and decisions. Even some non-Slaaneshi rulers can have harems. The mod also somehow made male concubines work.

Neo5sniper has released a patch for the old non-modular Dark World 1.25 to make it work for 2.5.1.1 and 2.5.2 (as of May 18th). You can find it near the top on page 3 of the Dark World: Reborn thread.

I hope two monts is not considered necroing, but I think my question is relevant to the topic: 

 

I assume that the steam workshop is not a good place for publishing adult-oriented CK2 mods. Do you know of any other place besides loverslab and the also mentioned  hynotic collectives that currently host CK2 adult mods? Or any other place where adult CK2 mods could get more difussion?

I've mostly played with the code of GoT mod, to see how they do things, haven't done much playing in game with with as I prefer semi historical setting
