Fallout 4 Mod Organizer and In-Game mod manager keep disabling each other

With mods now in open beta. The load-order in-game and the load-order in mod organizer aren't the same. Only one can be enable. In-game I have to enable the mods in the in-game load order but it disables the load order for mod organizer. When I re-enable the load order in mod organizer it disables the in-game load order. Either way I can't access any mods I download with mod organizer in-game.

Because the way the file is structured has changed... Formerly known as "disabling mods", which was not true.

MO wasn't updated for a while now, so yeah. It doesn't support it.

Actually all the trouble comes with not file structure or any of that but the way the plugins.txt is formatted. The current Bethesda mod system lists all your plugins but only activates the ones with an asterisk in front. Mod Organizer doesn't recognize this new format so it just removes the entries with the asterisks every time it recreates your plugins.txt which is pretty much every time you start up the game.

Using the BAT-File method from here (https://github.com/TanninOne/modorganizer/issues/663) works fine for me. It's a bit of a hassle to do everytime you start the game..

Right now im more annoyed that Mods disable achievements. If anything, my mods make it even harder to get most of them.. lol.

And i don't really care if people cheat to get achievements. Achievements are for yourself.. a goal to work towards. Doesn't matter how you reach it as long it makes you feel good.

I really just want to downgrade. Stupid 1.5..

Or just do it the modders way... http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12465/?

There are mods out there to revert  pretty much everything and change it to your liking, while still keeping the stuff you like from 1.5...and if there isn't already one, make one yourself. ;)
