dinodick Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 I finally got BodyGen working and liked the initial results, but it's only working on NPCs I haven't encountered before. On a new game that's everybody and it works great. On my current saves, it refuses to change anyone I've run into before even if I make a tweak specifically for them. I'm too far into the game to want to start over and it sucks having most of Skyrim stuck on the same body. If anyone can clue me in on a way to fix this I'd appreciate it. I'm a noob when it comes to mods.
ousnius Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Yes, that's a current limitation of BodyGen. Once you saw an NPC, it will forever have the shape it gets assigned first. The only way to reset it is to make a script that removes all morphs from the NPC (script as in, a Papyrus script mod for the game).

I'd thought there was a workaround I hadn't found yet. I assume the Papyrus scripting is complicated enough I'll need to wait until somebody is nice enough to release it since I have no experience with scripting. Do you know if the best place to look for something like that is on the unofficial docs thread? BodyGen is already really impressive from the little bit I've fucked around with it. Look forward to when I can use it on my old saves. Thanks again.
