Guest _kuraiko Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 So I switched ENB recently and it suddenly occured to me that one of my characters has a terrible case of carrot-headjoint. It’s not the ENB, I checked that. It is just more apparent in some than in others. I don’t think it’s the textures either since other presets dont seem to suffer the same issue. I checked the Nif files (both head and body) too but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. So I assume the only thing that might be causing issues is her RM file… has anyone an idea what might be causing this or has encountered something similar before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Arthacs Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 I think I have this issue as well on my latest MO Install Project. If u change the body color in Racemenu, do u have the same issue, that the head color is just slightly different than the body, it's cleaner or a little more shiny? I have other installs where this was not an issue before. -I have this issue on my new install, and I have not found the issue yet. 1. It's not changing when enabling/disabling ENB ingame. 2. It's not the texture replacer mods, tried several different types, same effect. 3. It appears not to be the the msn.dds, s.dds or the sk.dds 4. Not tintmasks. 5. Not Vampire Head Fix Mod. 6. No eye or Hair Mods that I have tried to disable. This One is from a Completely different Mod Organizer Install and with other Mods and .ini settings: http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h410/Samsuing/20160416235319_1_zpspthkjbxw.jpg]

I checked the preset in ECE and its fine BUT the moment I load the nif into RM its broken. Idk.
Arthacs Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I'm gonna check out an older save, where I know 100% for sure that it was not an issue and see if it happens there.
Arthacs Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 It effect all npcs, including males and its cross saves MO profiles and even MO installations, I'm gonna clean up my Skyrim Install and test that and see, maybe its ENB 305, I used 279 until recently. EDIT -It does not appear like the ENB effect it, only make it easier to see.
Arthacs Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I think it have something to do with complexion. With STEP Optimized textures (blankdetailmap.dds): With Fair Skin Complexion BlankDetailMap.dds Fix v1.0 (blankdetailmap.dds): -Slightly better, but not perfect.
Arthacs Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 My current textures are Alt Navetsea UNP When using UNP Texture Blender and Fair Skin Complexion BlankDetailMap.dds Fix v1.0, I end up with this: -Better, but not good enough. -When using Fair Skin Complexion and Adorable Face (what I used earlier) the neck seam is minimal if not completely gone, but I'm pretty sure it worked fine with other textures before, and now for some reason it don't. I'm gonna investigate this further another time.
