jenjack Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 So I finally bought my first gaming PC, and it is great. I finally get to play all of the PC ports of games I wanted and more. That said, sexout mods are always something that interested me. I want to download some of the sexout mods such pregnancy/breeder mods, but after failing miserably I am finding it very difficult to meet those goals. I have never modded any game on PC and I am generally inept in much of the terminology. I also feel the tutorials contradict each other in this tutorial (hxxp://www.loverslab.com/topic/16277-sexoutng-framework-installation-guide-for-beginners/) it says you dont need Astymma's Compatibility Skeleton but in this one you do (hxxp://www.loverslab.com/topic/22156-tutorial-scr-resources-folder-creation/ ). The first tutorial is also missing the .jpegs and idk even where to find SexoutNG - Bodies 1-1-1 All of this has been discouraging and frustrating and this is the "easy" part. Has there been a package that combines everything or an easier way to do this? I'll keep on trying to troubleshoot in the meantime... Thanks
RitualClarity Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2117-sexout-compilation-pack-v3-91715/ It states it needs sexout bodies.. The bodies should be in the main sexout module and thus included. Skeletons there are many that you can use. Astymmas was the original version. I believe still current. The link will give you most of all the mods you need. Then you can go back and download and install the fresh versions over it and it should be good. At least the last time I had them installed.
Halstrom Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 You'll get the hang of it, it takes time, you dip your toes in now and you could be making your own mods in another 12 months
jenjack Posted April 8, 2016 Author Posted April 8, 2016 Wow a bit suprised to see the writer of the second tutorial helping! So far I think I dled everything for the framework correctly based on the tutorial from BruceWayne. I even tested SexoutLite and it seems like it works (Are the animations suppose to clip for some positions so badly?) I do have a question really quick... Is Astymmas skeleton come as default, I think it did.. However, now I face the bigger challenge. Looking at all of the files for SCR, which ones do I need? http://www.loverslab.com/files/go/a42e081986df23f8faf47933088024f1/sexout-common-resources-scr I dled all of them except for the torrent mirror and extracted them to a separate folder. I know I transfer the one .esm file into the data folder, but what about all of the "meshes" and "textures" in the various data files... like SCR - data, HalstormsData, and Data? Do I just put the "meshes" and "textures" in the main "meshes" and "textures" folders in the fallout NV game folder? I also saw the huge list written in the second tutorial of assets to dl, which I did. As stated in the tutorial I did have a bunch of meshes and textures but also miscellaneous stuff like screenshots from the dlmods, the original winRAR file. When I tried to use FOMM package manager -> create from folder containing those files, I got the error message "the folder contains plugins in subdictories, and will need a script attached for FOMM to install correctly" should I just say okay? Thanks for all of the help! Edit: Holy crap and the author of some of the mods I want to dl. That is very surprising to see!
Halstrom Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Basically you download the outfits you think you will use or the mods you want use, If you don't want Samus Mantis suits don't install them, I don't think there is a definitive list on what mods use what outfits, if you see floating heads then you are missing meshes for whatever outfit that is.
RitualClarity Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Is Astymmas skeleton come as default, I think it did.. It did for a brief time but it was a mistake as there was a permissions issue so it was removed. I believe there is one included currently. If you females breast aren't stretching to infinity then you have a skeleton that works, if not chooses which ever one presented to you you like. Worst case you install another one over it. (FOMM & NMM) Or add another one (Mod Organizer) I also saw the huge list written in the second tutorial of assets to dl, which I did. I assume the "second tutorial" is my tutorial. If so you only need the Textures, Meshes, BSA (renamed), and Sound files (if any present) in the folder you will be using for Halstroms SCR (SCR Resources, that is the reason for the name of the tutorial lol). You are NOT TO HAVE ANY ESP/ESMs there. For the creation of the FOMM install process, you don't have to do that part. You can use 7zip, Winrar, or any other compression program to package this folder up for your mod manager. If you mod manager can install it using that method it is fine. That was just an example. As for the assets listed in the tutorial I created you can download whatever you want and insall them, however the intent is to download all of them and create one resource. With this most if not all of the assets you need would be covered when some mod accesses them so you don't have to stop playing and search for more assets and install them. Keeping the folder that you zipped up safe and sound also means that later you can install it over and over again if you have any need to reinstall the mods. No need to rework the tutorial again. Anything that is need to be added can be just added to that folder and re-zipped up again. All assets that are "removed" can stay unless stated otherwise. In the past years that I have maintained that tutorial no asset had to be removed from that tutorial folder. Yes it is quite complex however once done it is done for pretty much good provided you keep it safe. Another reason for downloading the entire list of mods is sometimes those mods go missing later.
jenjack Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 This is a real shit show. I have spent literally hours trying to make this work, and now it crashes my game. It all started when I downloaded all of the meshes and textures. I put them all in a separate folder and uploaded that folder into FOMM: http://s17.postimg.org/ft8uprrdb/meshes_and_shit_into_fomm.png However, once it is uploaded and installed it is not in my selection of mods, what gives? http://s9.postimg.org/i65ah7t67/FOMM_with_fomod.pngz Unless it is not suppose to show, but in game whenever I equipped the new items, my character would have a floating head and hands, so something obviously didn't work between the meshes and the textures which doesn't make a lot of sense since I transferred both sets for each outfit... As for the SCR (still very confused with that) I dled all of the download links from the SCR and got this: http://s30.postimg.org/bk6hzuvq9/SCR_files.png The only thing I did is opened the folders and copied the meshes and texture folders into another folder and uploaded that folder into the FOMM and put the .esm into the data folder of my fallout game. Before dling the compilation attached in this thread, I decided to just try the PregV3 mod and any requirements it needed. So I dled the main data files (not the meshes or torrent link to test if everything works). Once again I just copied the textures and meshes and uploaded them into FOMM and put the .esms for sexoutpreg and sexoutoffspring into the data folder of my fallout game. For PregV3 to work, I needed sexout spunk and I download the two files: SexoutLust -anyHID.7z & SexOutSPunk 0.97.7z. I transferred the .esp and all folders into the data folder of fallout game:http://s14.postimg.org/qky8x23s1/sexoutspunk_lust.png Now when I started the game MCM recognized Spunk and Pregnancy and sexoutNG and SCR, but the game would sometimes crash when initiating sex and my character would turn pink sometimes and gradually fade backish. Here is my load order: http://s29.postimg.org/61m9e5zxz/load_order.png What am I doing wrong? EDIT: I have decided to do a clean reinstall of my game and delete everything I downloaded. I tried the compilation suggested initially and everything worked in Doc Mitchell's house. However, I had the "infinite tits" happen because I was messing around with other mods to see if I can figure out other stuff and I am sure I messed up some other stuff so what would be the best way to get a clean install? I tried deleting the local content from steam, but after reinstalling everything was still there popped up in the data files and FOMM. EDIT 2: Would I need SCR for the compilation as well? I saw there was an SCR version already there. Also does the compilation not have a sexout store equivalent? If it doesn't I don't mind, I just want something that will work right from the get go for now.
RitualClarity Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 You are installing the mods and the resources wrong. There is a download able pdf that you can use to get the Resources folder correctly configured. Your capture shows that wasn't done. You don't extract and drag anything to other folders for any of the other mods. You just install them with FOMM as they are downloaded. The SCR compilation I believe is complete enough to get you a functional (all be it old) sexout install. Then you test to be sure it functions (have sex,) No infinity tits etc. Ignore the red triangles or floating heads if there are any. Then create the SCR resources folder (correctly this time) and zip it up and install it. Hint. The folder wont' state Meshes, Textures, sounds. (like your example does) It will say SCR Resources then inside that folder you will see Textures, meshes, sounds and one BSA that has been renamed. Again there is a PDF that tells you in great detail what to do with each of the folders. Test, now you shouldn't have any floating heads or red triangles. (on a clean FNV install with no other mods). For your future assistance because it will eventually happen install one of the approved skeletons. Then if you get infinity tits, reinstall it again and they will go away. Make sure your load order is correct, then play the game. Don't install anything else. Make sure it works great first. I can't make this any more clearer than I have.
Halstrom Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Infinate tits/dong = incorrect skeleton Yeah, sorry it isn't a simple thing but a lot of the mods do incredibly complex things relying on each other and pushing the NV Engine pretty hard near its limits. To create one mod to do all would be a nightmare of work for one person or team as there were a dozen of us at times, and many of us releasing daily updates and fixes. Normally I would get SexoutNG and SexoutSexLite working firstly, then install SCR, swap SexoutSexLite for SexoutSex and add things like SexoutAssault, then if that's ok install Spunk & Pregnancy, then try any older funky stuff like Breeder etc. If you get the compilation going ok you should be able to update SCR/Pregnancy later, but you may have to lose any pregnancies in progress. You may not either, it just depends on what changes occurred between the 2 versions. Also when you do add more stuff group all your Sexout stuff together as much as possible as late in the load order as possible like this: FalloutNV.esm TribalPack.esm MercenaryPack.esm ClassicPack.esm CaravanPack.esm DeadMoney.esm HonestHearts.esm OldWorldBlues.esm LonesomeRoad.esm GunRunnersArsenal.esm Interior Lighting Overhaul - Core.esm Interior Lighting Overhaul - L38PS.esm Primary Needs HUD.esm GIP_Kirina.esm NVWillow.esp VanessaFollowerNV.esm EVE-900.esm AWorldOfPain(Preview).esm AWOP v5dot3dot1 Hot Fix.esm IWS-Core.esm MikotoBeauty.esm Sexout.esm SexoutCommonResources.esm SexoutDrugging.esm SexoutPregnancyV3.esm SexoutOffSpring.esm SexoutStore.esm SexoutSoliciting.esm SexoutSpunk.esp SmallerTalk.esp The Mod Configuration Menu.esp Interior Lighting Overhaul - Ultimate Edition.esp ProjectRealityMkIv5HDR.esp AWOPDeadMoney.esp AWOPDeadMoneyVendorPatch.esp IWS-Core-Patrols.esp IWS-Core-Guards.esp IWS-Core-Civilians.esp IWS-DM.esp IWS-HH.esp IWS-OWB.esp IWS-LR.esp ILO - Project Reality Patch.esp ILO - GS Shack.esp ILO - PipBoy Light.esp populatedcasino-medium.esp UnderwaterFX.esp RadiationEffects-whiteNV.esp FNV-PC idles.esp NoMainStoryUltimatums.esp QSearchlight.esp Xenomorphs.esp New Vegas Map Markers.esp FNV Starfox.esp ClassyVeronica.esp CuteCass.esp SarahConner.esp Comp_Idles_NV.esp Sprint.esp NPCsUseAmmo.esp AmmoCraftingSchematics.esp ACS-DLCMerged.esp ShotgunsGaloreACS.esp PaperCurrency.esp Apparel.esp Weapons.esp SuperCola.esp SexoutLust.esp SexoutLust - pHUD.esp SexoutHookupsAlt.esp SexoutSexAssault.esp Sexout-Wear-And-Tear.esp Total active plugins: 72 Total plugins: 137

You may not either, it just depends on what changes occurred between the 2 versions. I have tried this when the first changes occurred with the compilation to the new mods released and it all worked. I do believe I did loose progress though and it took a bit of time for pregnancy to restart afterwards (making me think something broke) but it did kick in and work. That was awhile ago. I only suggest the compilation because it has a working base that you can then update the mods with. Less chance that a base requirement would be missing. Easier setup for a new person. The best of course is to go through and download and install current versions of the requirements and resolve any issues as you go.

Yes well that makes sense because if any change is done to any script it is going to reset all its local varibles to 0. Installing game mods isn't always easy, its a learning curve and the tools are getting better, you should see the dramas installing mods into other games, and some of them you can't do much more than retexture models

Even after creating it it took a few months for tweaks and corrections for various issues. It was alot of work to get that up and running. With today's understanding and such I believe these mods could have been added if desired with the "ismodloaded" option. Then there wouldn't be any draw back if they weren't there. Or so as I understand it.

Or so as I understand it. I considered that, and I did use IsModLoaded for all the DLC's and TTW stuff to avoid requiring all that or multiple versions of SCR/Pregnancy. But for simple clothing mods, the advantage of deleting the original esp is reducing the amount of plugins in the load order. And really as I said if you don't install an outfit and never play a mod using it or don't buy those outfits at SexoutStore you will never see an issue. A couple of unused asset tags isn't any problem.
