Nif file causing CTDs, at wit's end

From what I can see the CTD is because there are no bone nodes in it at all as there is no BSDismemberSkinInstance or niskininstance in the nif. If the CTD you are getting is from trying to load it into the CK then that would be the reason if you are CTDing because you replaced a creature with this model then that would be the reason. Just like if you have someone that has a TBBP body but you don't have TBBP installed and you enter the cell that the person is in it will cause you to CTD the minute you enter the cell.

If you were to look at another creature nif using nifskope you will see what is wrong quite quickly. Here is a frostbite spider and how it looks and this is how that creature in your nif has to look as it looks like it should be using the frostbite spiders skeleton.

This is and has always been intended for use as a static object, not as a monster. I deliberately collapsed the skin modifier to achieve the static pose. Collapsing has never been a problem for other monster meshes (especially vanilla meshes), and I have been able to make static monster 'stuffed statues' in this manner.

It's really weird because I have at least 6 werewolf static objects made from vanilla assets which play nicely with the rest of my game, but the nif in the OP crashes the game every single time. I'm confused as to which attribute is causing the crash.

They have always been assigned to CK entries as 'animobjects'.

This nif is currently experiencing the same problem and I don't know why:
