dogmeat1 Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Trying to add different skin texture types but none of them shows up on game.  CBBE v3.4f skipped the face addon & neck fix went with ultra body texture   then I tried mature skin texture, Sporty sexy map & sweat but I don't see the difference. I must missed something but what? Any idea?  Â
RitualClarity Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 It is installed into the wrong place (wrong path not replacing the textures you are using) Mod not activated You installed something later that overwrote the files you want to see. Try re-installing them last. (again).

You have worked the conflicts however you need to be sure the structure of the folder was installed correctly. That is what I meant by installed in the wrong place.  after checking the structure of the installed body mod to be sure it is correct. Textures, meshes, sounds, bsa, esp, esm etc. The main game files present then check for any conflicts that show on the side of the entry. I have more links on the sig for details if you don't know about the conflicts and MO's handling of them.  I can't help much more as I only use a basic body and little else before. I haven't had any problems getting a texture etc to show up in game. Â

I always set that up right away when installing MO and end up forgetting it later. lol. Yes. check that. Â

Anatriax Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016  Yes. There is an .esp file included in the newest version of CBBE. The .esp is needed in order for the body to be affected by weighting in game.

Body slide has moved to a new page. I mention that becuse there is "tools" there in Anatriax's screen capture. Did you install Bodyslide dogmeat1? Â
dogmeat1 Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 Actually I've been playing with MO on FNIS + BodySlide and it works just fine. Body parts bounce like it should be and wirh the increased breast size I put in BSlide. So everything works as it should be except the skin texture. Obviously I'm missing esp from CBBE but, Iike I said there's no esp in CBBE main file. Â Anatriax said he got it from the latest file but where? Not in Nexus. Â Â ps I just asked CBBE main page about missing esp and apparently there is none. So, where did you get it, Anatriax? Is it an older file?

Â Your issue with textures not loading is certainly a pathing issue. All I can say. Something is installed wrong or to the wrong place. Â What version of MO are you using? Â

For instant, I've been testing on this follower; Â http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61140/? Â She looks exactly as seen on pics and waiting for me at The Temple of Kynareth, So the BodySlide and HDT works just fine on her when I give her the CBBE-TBBP-HDT-BS outfit. But no change on her skin texture. I reinstalled MatureSkin to old, scarred & hairy as possible but no change.

Then you'll know where to put your new skin textures. I COULD tell you what the file path would be? But... "Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime..."

Â It's not just path I need to know. What skin texture do I need to change, everything? If I'm not sure about the race, which one do I add? Since I'm using MO, I don't want to add anything manual. so do I need to create a new rar to make a new entry?

RitualClarity Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Yea. your issue isn't installation it is the follower you are using has different textures paths for them Check the link that Anatriax stated and there is good info on how to go about changing the paths and such. And yes.. if the follower you use has custom skins they have custom paths and to change those you need to replace whatever textures/meshes the author usees to get your follower to look like you want.
