Everything turns black instantly.

I have this weird problem, where at random moments the whole world gets dark, yet I can still move and everything. Like not just night dark, but to the point where I can't really see anything. Does anyone know the reasoning? This happens when it's day ingame as well.

I also have problems with texture stretching that goes away after a second, but I think that has to do with loading in the characters, and it's not that big of a deal.

Anyway I'll probably say something stupid BUT:

It is possible that your character get blindfolded? The descriptions of the event seems that.

 

I don't know, maybe by a rouge script by a Dirty Save, or simply a Devious blindfold removed badly (so get re-equipped when the script make a check)

You also have Cursed loot, so maybe it is possible for a RubberDoll expansion event, or something similar.

 

Try to reduce the Blindfold effect script by the MCM of the Devious Device and see if the Pitch Black get better.

And the thing with blindfold is that I thought it made everything pitch dark. My glitch only makes thing dark and I tried changing the strength and that didn't do much. It seems like something is fucking up the lighting, but I have no idea what. My character is also like highly aroused during these incidents, but I couldn't find anything about that anywhere in the MCM menus for Sexlab Aroused. I added a screenshot if it helps.

Edit: Just incase it wasn't clear in the post, I checked if there were any blindfolds and I couldn't find any. Also I tried switch to 3rd-person mode and that didn't change anything either, which I believe was supposed to let you see.

Ok it's a ImageSpace Modifier, that's fo sure...

 

Try 'sisme 0' in the Console, then set it back to 1

 

 

It really remind my the Imagespacemodifier from Maria Eden 2.0, but you don't have that mod... the helmet overlay with an hood?

omg setting sisme to 0 worked however, 1 made it dark again. What do you mean by equip list and how can I check?

I've come across a similar bug: when female NPC's have bare breasts (using UNPB/7BO and HDT physics), they create giant black graphical artifacts from their breats.... UI is still there too, but its less like an overlay but more like sheets of black coming out there... Using any piece of equipment that covers their breasts fixes it however.

The ImageSpace Modifier are like a lens for the image of the games.

It's the base way of work of the Helmet overlay for example.

 

About the List:

open the Console point your Character and look in the "Equipment" Tab or use the ShowInventory Command ('Player.ShowInventory' if you prefer).

 

 

Other things that you could try (REMEMBER TO SAVE BEFORE TRY):

-When you get the Black Screen try to use the ConsoleCommand 'UnequipAllItems' and see if the Overlay disappear, If yes, it's triggered by an item equipped.

 

-Get a look in the cursed loot, maybe you have the selfbondage on and simply your character has equipped a blindfold.

 

 

- (Risky) Unequip all the Devices (Safework, Keys, whatever), store your gear somewhere, choose ANOTHER container, get it's ID (click on it when in Console) then Click on the PC and write

Player.RemoveAllitem *The Id of the Container*

 

This will move ALL your equipment in that container, then look carefully what you're picking up back (get only what you recognize... quest items, etc.).

Then Save and Reload.

And equip a Devious Device.

 

-Maybe it's time to learn about a Save Tool to clean dirty scripts

Unequipping did nothing however after switching from sisme 0 to 1 a few times, it just all of a sudden stopped. So i have no idea what happened but it has yet to happen again.

As of now I am content I already cleaned the save and it said that 0 orphan scripts were found, but anyways tvsm for all your help. The black screen thing was killing me, if it comes back I can just play with sisme off, it doesnt seem to affect too much.
