Drakemasta Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 is there a way to access the bodysliders you used in the origional cas after you started to play the game? say you want to change your character a bit
modslave Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 NRAAS Master Controller is your ticket for this, its a very powerful in game editing tool that allows you to access all kinds of things. Overall it allows you to manage a lot of the inner workings of The Sims 3 via a handy in context wheel menu. But to edit a sim in CAS again you just go NRAAS>Master Controller>Advanced>Edit In CAS, and there you go. A lot of the stuff on the NRAAS site from Twallan is literally nearly required to ensure a heavily modded TS3 game actually works for an extended period of time. Story Progression is also a really good tuning mod to have from that site, if you get anything I'd suggest Master Controller and Story Progression as basic tuning mods to give you more control of your game and overall make the game better in general.
Drakemasta Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 i used story progression for a while but i found it made me lag more so stopped using it and removed it. tho it might have been overwatch too on nraas
modslave Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 i used story progression for a while but i found it made me lag more so stopped using it and removed it. tho it might have been overwatch too on nraas Overwatch is tricky to use with OKW. You have to set auto-reset stuck sims to false, otherwise it causes problems. I use a ton of the NRAAS Tuning mods and don't see a lot of issues at all really. Its all in what you're using and how you set it up. When using Story Progression you have to ensure that you set its options up to disable EA Story Progression when it starts, also helps a ton to disable Memories in the base game options and let Story Progression manage all that stuff.
Drakemasta Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 i got both okw, kickers aw and nraas woohooer but not sure about wich animations go where so i just installed all the animations in each one, mostly use okw tho cause its got skills that make it worth using outside the scenes, plus the lifetime rewards if you get high enough. woohooer has a skill too but it doesnt have personality tweeks to go with it and when you woohoo using okw (possibly aw too) it counts towards woohoo skill lol. is there a way to turn the save mod offered by nraas's notifications off its kinda anoying if you like to bring the game up and leave it running while you do housework or go out for a bit.
modslave Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I'd just remove the save mod from your packages directory, its safe to remove from your install and won't affect your game in any way. Animated Woohoo is kind of redundant now with OKW out, Woohooer still serves a few purposes in regards to managing how your inactives get up to their risque' business but largely in regards to the active family its almost pointless at this point other than smoothing out a few XML rules that OKW doesn't address.
Drakemasta Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 is there a auto-save mod out there tho that doesnt prompt whenever it saves cause i like the mod incase i mess up and the game crashes or freezes but the save prompting is anoying if you afk
