feile23 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I just recently discovered some 1/6 scale actionfigures on Amazon and were really amaised by there quality. So I searched the internet for more of them and found a quite big community around these dolls. So does any one here owned one of these figures and what are you think about them? Is it worth to spend quite some money on them, just to put them on display? Maybe there is more to them. And of course I would like to hear whats about the kinky view of this dolls? Strangely I didnt found any forums about kinky stuff. But there are many highly realistic dolls and even some bondage gear. Right now I'm really exited about them, but I'm really not sure If I probably would regret to buy one of these dolls. I'm not really that collectors guy, but I was playing with the idea to use these dolls for a tabletop rpg (for a better visualisation of scenes). What are your thoughts?

Kits have a decent price but you need a place to build them like a garage for example with a big table and lots of tools. Prepainted ones are alot more expensive. Edit: Maybe these can be mentioned in that category. Ignore the dust >.> these things are dust magnets. But yes if you want the real deal its gonna get messy. Anyway if you want hardcore stuff I heard the amazon japan is the place for you ^^

Vivi Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 You would still have to sand, pin and paint them anyway. For that you would need an airbrush+compressor and lots of other stuff. And all this still needs a place/room (+ You need a nice 3d model.)

My warning is with AliExpress is that if the price is really low then avoid it, it is likely a knock off and questionable quality so do your homework on general prices. I have gotten some good stuff from AliExpress but also a few bad fakes.

If i remember right the real thing was going for over $4,000, memory serves it was about 16 inches high. That's a bondage chair again hard too see
