sshadow5001 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I've had quite a bit of success using mesh rigger until I came to this Daedric Armor and this happened. Anyone know how I can fix this in Mesh Rigger or Outfit Studio?
Levionte Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 It'd be easier to fix it in Outfit Studio. Just load the outfit, open up the bones tab and remove the errant weight painting on the troubled area. It might be a neck bone but it's hard to tell from the screenshots. If you click through the bones, you should see a dot of paint on the tip of the spike that shouldn't be there on one of them. And if you're curious, based on your mesh rigger settings, the piece of armor was probably too far away from your reference body for it to be weighted properly. You could try increasing your search distance, but sometimes it's easier just to fix it manually.
myuhinny Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Outfit studio tends to make outfits and stuff run through mesh rigger to spazz out I see it a lot and if I have to throw something back into outfit I tend to keep a copy of the original then throw one into outfit studio fix the weight painting load it into the CK to and rotate the mesh if it spazzes out copy the piece that you fixed the weight paint on and transfer it to one of your copies then check again. It should now be good unless a spazzing piece is attached to weight painted piece.
