judgement16 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 I have a mod that allows me to hire soldiers with different types of gear and was wondering if there was a way to alter the mod so all the NPCs (The Soldiers) would be female instead of male

Better use the CS for gender change and check the faces of the NPCs, change them so that they look more feminine. ! Better deactivate the Mods, then create a new save ( clean save ). Change the Mod NPCs then activate the Mod again. ( reason: the gender of Player and NPCs are stored in the save and funny things can happen. e.g. other NPCs still use the male dialogues when talking to your new female Soldiers )

Mod I wish to alter is http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/24399/? (Private Army 2) I would much rather it spawn female npcs rather than males. Ask for the talking you cant really interact with them anyways, so not to fussed but will look into that as well.

fejeena Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 ! I have looked at the Mod.... a tip do not use it ! The Mod is dirty as hell. It changed a lot of original files. Instead of creating new objects, creatures, lights the modder changed originals. Activators with changed scripts. 3 containers with changed inventory White Horse 4 lights and don't know why so many world cells are changed (deleted rocks and trees ) So everywhere where these files are used the mod-changed-files affect the game ( one chest is nice, everywhere you find this original game chest you get 10000 Septim. The chest is used 63x in the original game ) And the esp is unclean more than 5000 Disabling References and more than 5000 Identical to Master records. And a lot of things that must be deleted manually. conclusion: better don't use the Mod. Or rework it, create unique/new files ( delete all the original game entries) ---------------------------- Edit: have you made a clean save ? travel to a place not changed by the Mod ( best go in a interior cell ), save the game. Then deactivate the mod. Start the game and wait 3 days ( 3 days is the respawn time, all unused entries are removed ) save the game. Now activate your new changed esp. ----------------------------- EDIT2 a door in Anvil. useless. no teleport location, no linked door.
judgement16 Posted March 10, 2016 Author Posted March 10, 2016 Tried the clean save, even made a completely new character but no luck, an I agree the mod is kinda buggy and not right, one of the reasons I wanted to alter it. You know any other mod I can use in its place?

fejeena Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 MCS: you can make any NPC your companion. Original game or Mod NPCs. You have commands, access to the inventory, .... With the command "Relex" the NPC walk around, eat, drink and sleep at night. ( nice for companions in your player house ) And they fight ( they are in ther player faction and fight if the player be attacked ) But you don't have a commander with a army as in Private Army 2 Mod . All companions follows the player. Install MadCompanionshipSpells.esp AND MCS Extension.esp !

( not meant seriously, but it works ) Breed your own army You need Lovers/LAPF Tamago/Hiyoko hiyoko-utility-spells https://www.loverslab.com/topic/15913-hiyoko-utility-spells-tamago-fertility-clinic-new-version/ the HiyokoUtilitySpells_1_03.7z MCS ( both esp) Male Player character in game: Choose 2 or more female NPCs as your commanders. With MCS make them your companions. Fuck the female commanders till they are pregnant ( Best change the Tamago ini : set a4tc.AdditionalOvulateRate to 100.0 so they give birth up to 10 children at once ) The children will follow the mother. With MCS you can give them weapons and armor. Now give the female commander commands/orders and all the children will follow the mothers. Female Player character in game: Choose 2 or more male NPCs as your commanders. With MCS make them your companions. Have sex till you are pregnant ( Best change the Tamago ini : see above ) The children will follow the mother/ the player Use HiyokoUtilitySpells: 'Hiyoko Mark as Follow Target' spell to mark your commander Then cast 'Hiyoko Follow Marked Target' on the first child. Now the child will follow his father/commander. With MCS you can give them weapons and armor. Now give the male commander commands/orders and all the children will follow the commander. Your own Army !

Many people use the CM companion but remove the CM companion scripts and CM companion.esm master file. So you have the NPCs and can use MCS to hire and command them. I don't use any CM companion Mods, I have enough NPCs from other Mods. MCS = MadCompanionshipSpells
