CTD when removing body clothing in Live Another Life.

My female characters can start in LAL just fine.

Male characters have a CTD whenever they use the bed or remove the body clothing. I've re-installed XP32 Skeleton and reran FNIS, but to no avail. I've also tried without XP32.

 

I would be very grateful if anyone could look into this and help me out. Below is my loadorder. I also tried everything with XP32 as the highest priority mod.

90% of the time CTD when removing clothing means your skeleton is either overwritten or you are using a skeleton that's not compatible with the body you are using. Try reinstalling Schlongs of Skyrim to make sure nothing overwrote the skeleton that is in it. Check and make sure other skeletons haven't been overwritten.

I'm only using XP32 and SOS seems to work fine for NPCs, since male NPCs can take off body armour with no problem in my other game. I re-installed SOS, including the male skeleton that came along with it, but it still crashes when I remove the body clothing... I use the default male body, btw, the one that SoS installs.

Have you tried using XPMSE 3 which is better adapted for use with SoS and also if using XPMSE 3, you should let it overwrite Sos Skeleton, or not install the SoS Skeleton at all.

 

The issue your describing does indeed sound very much like wrong skeleton.

If I open the SOS MCM, it shows "No SOS compatible skeleton", even if I re-installed SOS default Male skeleton and put SoS higher in the loadorder than XPMSE...

 

Now SoS MCM shows no errors, it gives info about a SOS compatible skeleton, but I still get a CTD when removing body clothing.

 

Tested it again: in my female character game, male NPCs can remove their body clothing just fine. However, same mod config, male character, CTD when removing body clothing...
