sshadow5001 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Just curious if ya do and what they are? I'm liking the look of Rustic Clothing http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69784/?
BasHanada Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I use that one as well. Right now I have Improved NPC Clothing then Rustic Clothing installed over it and then the other specific armor retexts as well as all amidians.
Rebel Marauder Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I can fully recommend Rustic Clothing, it's the one I come back to time and again, it remains true to the vision I have for "regular" clothes without actually touching the mesh of the clothes so I can use any clothing mod I want as long as it retains the vanilla mesh (such as HDT clothing with Gamwich's retex) which Is what I'm using right now in fact.
sativa Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 for Armors amidian book of silence, musthave .)
Rebel Marauder Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Oh yeah Armor has to be aMidianborn Book Of Silence, there is no equal, I also use a lot of custom armor mods but they take so long to acquire/craft that I get to see aMidianborn armors for a good while in the game, best of both worlds if you ask me.
sshadow5001 Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 aMidianborn Book Of Silence looks great. Does it hurt framerate much?
spoonsinger Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Rustic Clothing is really good for base clothing stuff. You can really tell the clothing changes with those which have, at this point in time, and haven't been done. But they can be bettered with other texture packs - given the time to look for them, and personal preference. Use MO, then fiddle with the textures load ordering you want to appear and those you don't, (It's really easy to change your preferences over time).
Rebel Marauder Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 aMidianborn Book Of Silence looks great. Does it hurt framerate much? The files have been compressed to a point that they are actually (according to a member of the team on the mod) better optimized than Bethesda original textures and should cause no frame loss at all.
Guest Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Besides aMidianborn and Rustic, eotw mage robes are very nice. I think some have been removed from the Nexus version for some daft reason or other so you might need to do some Gfu to get the complete package.
Sceadugengan Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I'm using Opulent Outfits - Mage Robes of Winterhold v4. If you like colorful mages robes this might interest you

MoonSpot Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Do I ever. Don't think I'm running any or Beth's textures anymore for clothes/armour. One of my favs is EotW Mage equipment overhaul, but it's been down for ages (this is why you backup and don't delete mods) Aside from amidianborn, ones worth noting IMO: Realistic Transparent Glass Armors Weapons v3 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33602/? Dawnguard Vampire Armors Retexture by Messias Mummo http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28014/? I completely forgot about rustic NPC clothes, meant to try it but kept running with Improved NPC clothes since my rebuild. Gonna give her a go now.
