azmodan22 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Hi, During a game I came across a weird problem. I loaded a save I had made in witch a sim was sleeping. When the game loaded, the sim Jumped out of bed (teleported standing next to it). After a while the game froze. This will happed every single time I would load the game. I though that it was something random so I quited that family, made a new one and started a new game. Now the exact same problem has happeded again. The minute I load the game, one sime will jump out of bed, and after a while the game will feeze. Since it is obviously not a random issue, does anyone have any information on how to fix this?
Wicked Loveth Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Check your CC. You could have mod conflict or bad CC. It sounds like the original save was corrupted but if it carries over into a new save then it's probably outdated mods or bad cc. You'll have to check.
azmodan22 Posted February 11, 2016 Author Posted February 11, 2016 I heve checked them with Dashboard and I have removed the corrupted ones. I am not sure I did it the right way with Cutstard though for the sim3pack files. I only opened them, did't see anything special and closed them. One that failed to openI deleted it. Is there some other way or another way to check for corupt CC?
Wicked Loveth Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 If you think Sims 3 packs are the culprit then I'm sad to say the only way I know how to check it is to do the process of elimination method... But in the meantime, after you've cleared your package files, try deleting the Caches in The Sims 3 folder and then see if the problem persists. If it does, then it might be a Sims3pack issue and then you'd have to remove them, test to see if the problem occurs. If it doesn't--great! But you'll have to reinstall the packs chunk by chunk until you come across the bad CC. This is the only way I know how to check the Sims3packs once they've been installed.
azmodan22 Posted February 12, 2016 Author Posted February 12, 2016 From my experience with moding (Skyrim mostly) something told me that this is not because of corupt CC. It is script related. After a brief reserach I found that the mods Nraas ErrorTrap and Kinky world are highly incompatible. Removing NraasErrorTrap fixed the problem :-).
