  1 Fibreglass  2 Asbestos+ 3 Ceramic-----------------= 1 Bag of Cement= 5 Concrete

because thats what you have to deal with in the wasteland.

 


its like everybody forgot (or maybe millennials dont even know...) that asbestos used to be everywhere back in the golden age. ceramic on its own is brittle as shit, it must be strengthened with fiberous material. im guessing that a lot of people have no idea what asbestos really is anymore. kinda like cassette tapes and manual transmissions. http://www.mesothelioma.com/asbestos-exposure/products/cement remember that the ovenmitt scraps into asbestos. so literally, everywhere.

There was still a lot of Bakelite around in the 50's which most 50's robots on screen seemed to have been made out of, (but I suspect the developers were a we bit too young to know that).
