LAPF not recognized OBSE

How do you have installed OBSE. Manually ! ( it's not possible with a Mod manager ) OBSE21 also has a "obse.ini" you must install.

Do you have a Oblivion Steam version ? or CD version ?

How do you start the game ? Steam ? Oblivion exe, Oblivion Mod manager ?  obse_loader.exe works only with No-Steam version

Do you have the game installed correctly?   Oblivion NOT in C:\program files...  ! ! !

Read my yellow Link below !

OBSE v21 last

intalle in oblivion folder

the message in my game : lovers required OBSE .

but OBSE intalle

i am Oblivion steam game

perhaps one problem with ??

Are you running the OBSE launcher?  If so don't use it just run the game through steam like normal. The OBSE dll files will automatically kick in.  The OBSE launcher is only used for non steam Oblivion.   You also have to make sure the steam overlay is turned on for Oblivion.

On a side note, steam overlay actually doesn't need to be on for OBSE to work. This is relevant because it can mess with ENBs.

Oblivion steam version must have "steam overlay" checked or OBSE don't work.

----------------

Oblivion steam is "bad", often causes problems,  especially if you have the game installed in C:\program files/(x86)

That's why I post "read my yellow Link" and never install Oblivion in C:\program files/(x86)

Edit: here is a Link for Oblivion steam, OBSE21 and Mod Organizer http://www.loverslab.com/topic/57262-oblivion-steam-ed-all-dlc-obse-0021-can-they-be-made-to-work/

I don't use Mod Organizer and Wrye Bash, I only use Oblivion Mod manager. ( And I have no Steam version :)  )

No it doesn't, I checked this before saying anything. Well, atleast Blockhead and Enchanced first person camera plugins loaded correctly. But yes, the game shouldn't be installed in program files folder.

I edit my last post if you use Mod organizer.

And have you tried (for testing) to set the "steam overlay" ? If it still don't work something else is wrong.

?? But why is in the OBSE readme mentioned that you must set "steam overlay" ?? When have they changed it ? ( new OBSE version ? )

1. Copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_steam_loader.dll and the Data folder  to your Oblivion directory. This is usually "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\oblivion".
2. Ensure you have enabled the Steam community in-game, or OBSE will fail to load. Go to Steam > Settings > In-Game and check the box marked "Enable Steam Community In-Game".
3. Launch Oblivion via Steam or by running Oblivion.exe. OBSE will automatically be run along with Oblivion when launched. To disable this, rename or move obse_steam_loader.dll. You do not need to use obse_loader.exe unless you are running the editor.
