Gygax Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Greeting and salutations i ahve an issue with the skes storageutil.dll i DO have SOS(modlist prioirty 211 esp priority 199/200/201) at a higher priority than sexlab(modlist priority 57 esp priority 11) and its not helped any suggestions on what i have done wrong?

Sexlab needs to have the higher priority. The storageutil (also known as PapyrusUtils) included in SexLab will always be more recent than SOS (the SOS one is really outdated AND the newer version does not even have an option in the installer for installing PapyrusUtils if I remember correctly). Either make SexLab higher priority (higher number) in ModOrganizer's left pane, or download PapyrusUtils separately and make it the highest priority (or at least higher than everything but the skeleton) in Mod Organizer.

SOS has had the papyrus installation as OPTIONAL for several versions (even before the 2.05.041 version) - yes, it was on by default but it was very easy to uncheck it. And the latest versions (3+) had the option OFF by default and even removed in the latest (3.00.004) so it's really not a problem anymore (and really wasn't before) . Frankly, neither SOS nor SexLab should have included it by default. It should have been listed as a prerequisite and linked in the description. I understand that Ashal does both (now - originally I think PU was started by someone else and Ashal took it over) and it made some sense to include it, but then again, so did including it in SOS. If it had been separate from those mods, then the SOS vs SL installation order would never have mattered.

Earen Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 +1 in my opinion bundling of anything but texture creates real time bomb - modder bundles another mod and its bugs and its old features. I'm not talking about SOS author here
