sila Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 So I wanted to use NPC Visual Transfer Tool, which required an update to mod organizer. After updating that however when I try to run SKSE I get spammed with dialogue boxes that say "The Procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\System32\D3d11.dll". After clicking through several of these error messages the game boots up and runs just fine, so clearly there is nothing actually wrong with the game install. What could be causing these rather annoying messages?
Wartoot Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Update to mod organizer from what? Nexus mod manager? Manual installation? Are there are modfiles in your current skyrim folder? If yes, your installation of mod organizer didn't work properly.

If yes, your installation of mod organizer didn't work properly. An update from Mod organizer 1.2.something to mod organizer 1.3.11, a mod I wanted to use required an MO update. There are no files in my skyrim data folder, the only ones in the skyrim directory are the Skyrim vanilla files, a few enb files and SKSE files.

That's what caused the confusion. Anyway, it might be a better idea to post this specific question at the mod organizer topic itself instead of posting a new one. After some fiddling though it seems some of the files for enb were causing the issue, removing those fixed the problem and the enb is still working properly so I am not sure why they were included even
