Uncorrupting my savegame progress. Suggestions Please?

Just some background information:

 

 

I installed Sexout and was playing NV for a few days before I first stepped into the Gomorrah. Every time I went inside, right after the weapon collection, I crashed. I didn't install any new mods and I swore I thought I installed Sexout incorrectly, but the crash kept persisting.

 

I spent a good 2 hours checking mods, unchecking mods, looking around BOSS and FNVEdit. I gave up and searched around the forum and the suggestion came up that maybe it was a corrupted save game. I made a new game and five minutes later COC myself to Gomorrah. I entered in with absolutely no problems.

 

The whole damn time it was my corrupted save game.

 

 

Happens quite frequently. I've lost the odd game or two because of that. One solution I found was to go into an area that crashed in my new save game' date=' and then save there. Then, I would reload my 'corrupt' save game, and try going to that area. Some times, it worked. If it works, delete the save game, and save in a new slot. The area should no longer crash. Happens *a lot* with Westside.

 

I also keep a 'clean save' handy for testing all major Sexout mods, so I can know for sure, that it is not my saved game that is causing any possible problems.

So I took ChancellorKremlin's idea and messed around with it. I managed to get into the Gomorrah bug free. What I did was toggle the AI (tai in the console) and entered the Gomorrah. The weapons check sequence did not occur, but obviously I could not move anywhere. I saved my game there in a new slot and reloaded the corrupt save. I then entered the Gomorrah and pass the weapon check without a crash.

 

Interesting thing though is that as soon as I armed myself (as in raised my arms in preparation for unarmed combat) the game crashes. I think for some reason Gomorrah has problems with weapons. So I saved in another new slot. I then loaded that brand new save, and everything worked perfectly. My mods, sexout, weapons, etc. all functioned correctly in Gomorrah. I was even able to enter and exit Gomorrah for quite some times. After about 30 minutes though the same crash happened again. I enter Gomorrah, my weapons get taken away, and then crash.

 

You guys have any advice, besides start a new game?

I have also had problems with save games, sometimes.

 

I have recently noticed a "Save games" Tool in FOMM, but mostly it seems to let you export the load order a saved game used. That is important, but apparently there are other failure modes (which are probably related to consequences of changing your load order).
