Please help! Game hangs while loading save :*(

So I was able to play before with the mods I have. I took a break and came back, loaded the game, played for a couple minutes then had a CTD. I had not saved it and still have the saves from before the break. Since then, I haven't been able to load any of my saves. I select a save, it goes to the loading screen and then freezes after a few seconds. I tried looking at the logs but they don't make sense to me. I tried messing around with mod orders and disabling/enabling mods, but that has not worked. Can anyone assist me?

Same thing happens to me. Here's a possible solution:

1. Download Alternate Start

2. Start a new game. Create any character you want, default Nord male is good enough.

3. Wait for about 2 or 3 minutes and save your game. Save in this starting cell, don't talk to the statue or anything like that.

4. Then load the save that was crashing.

If this helps then load your "starting cell" save first before loading anything else.

 

OR:

1. Launch Skyrim, open console in the main menu (before loading any saves) and type "coc qasmoke"

2. Then load your game

 

You can also try cleaning your save file using the Savegame Script Scalpel. It is possible that your save is bloated with too many active or broken scripts. If there is a problem with your load order then LOOT can help you out.
