Broken Images Everywhere

Hey does anyone know what up with all the broken images on here. I've looked at a few blogs and post s and 99% of the time the image is broken. Now my images that I do post are fine at the moment but I'm worried that my work will share the same fate as others. Now most of my images come from Tumblr as thats were I upload them but I'm starting to upload them to different websites now as Tumblr re-sizes them making them.

There is something with imgur and almost all imgur pictures are blocked.

Yeah. Abandoning the imgur ship is probably the best way to go. As long as others are still using them, though, this topic could help you view their stuff.

Images on Imgur load fine when you go to their URL directly, but if you try to open them on a LL page -which sends a "referer" info to the image server- images fail to load.

 

Reminds me of what Imageshack has become...

It is not a bug it was done intentionally they have done this before they use to have it where you couldn't view images here unless you opened the picture in a new page or copied the link and pasted it into a search bar.

Thanks for writing. Unfortunately that site has been blocked from hotlinking due to multiple instances of abuse of Imgur's terms of service. The terms of service can be found at http://imgur.com/tos. so quess it's time to forget imgur and move to another image host

 

i tested imgbox and was surprised how much easier it is to share whole batch of images

http://postimg.org/ is another good site for images and you can mark them XXX there
