[Idea] Succubus Amulet

The idea:

Legend tells of a forbidden and cursed Oblivion forged amulet carved from a large black soul stone and seated in a decorative silver housing with an alluring pink glow at the center that fades towards the edges into purple then darkness. The amulet is sought after, not for it's unusual beauty, but for the dark enchantment that is attached to it, the ability to drain and store the life forces of those the wearer sleeps with to be used to power and enhance the spells of it's owner...

 

What I envisioned is basically a quest that awards the player with an amulet that allows your character to, as the part above suggests, drain the life force from NPCs that he or she sleeps with whenever the amulet is worn during a sex act, the degree of drain could be configured through the MCM menu with the ability to drain the NPCs to a draugr state (maybe with a fade to black effect as the scene ends and the body is replaced by that of a naked draugr), also as the above bit suggest the amulet would increase the damage or potency of spells cast by its owner depending on how many souls it has absorbed, in addition to that instead of draining magicka during spell use, power would be drained from the amulet, in other words your character would have to fuck more NPCs in order to recharge it. Consequences of using the amulet could include an increased desire for sex (obviously), a small bit of life drain per second if the amulet runs out of power and the spell is still being cast, and maybe some kind of withdrawal symptoms (like skooma) if the amulet is removed for too long.

 

The catch:

I haven't the slightest idea as to how to create something like this, help would be nice, or if someone is so inclined to take things further and make the a thing, that would also be nice... anyway just putting this out there if anyone is interested in the idea.

The obvious question would be: wouldn't this be more of an enhancement for the Deadly Drain mod?

 

-> drain to death? Check

-> drain to draugr? Check

-> drain during sexual scenes only? Check (pure SL content)

-> integrated arousal triggers? Check

-> impact of the succubus skills on vanilla skills (sorcery)? Check

-> sex refills a power-bar to fuel the spells? Check

 

There are already several succubus themed mods available. But the mere quest-related foundation, comparable to the process of becoming a vampire or werewolf, is not yet available (as far as I know). Meaning since there already is a whole lot of content on the market, you might get better feedback when trying to link it with a baseline they could all resemble in.

 

Just an idea, of course.

Deadly Drain came to mind as I was typing this out, yes, in fact I think it could be used in part as a kind of framework for something like this. I know of other mods on here that use sex to power spells as well (Succubus Quest being one of the big ones on here, and probably my favorite personally). But I have yet to see a mod that enables all of those abilities at the same time in an item form (another example of an artifact mod like the one described above would be SexLab Mind Control). There are some succubus themed quest mods on here, I believe Succubus Heart is one of them and there is another that I am aware of where you meet up with some guy at the ruined farm house near the Whiterun watch tower and he basically teaches your character how to become a succubus except without the transformation aspect (forgot the name of that one though), there are probably others too that I'm not aware of.

That one with the farm house should be Arngrims apprentice - or something like that. Didn't test it so far.

 

Besides that, you got a point there. There is no real quest-driven content for the succubus topic. Which is a shame since one could do it for the incubus (males), too, so the man-loving gamers could also join the train. The whole succubus-topic is very popular, so the incubus subject might reach out further. But I digress.

 

Personally, I think that it would need a counterpart to better vampires (and the like) as for the PVE part, with boni via sex skills. In an other topic I said that the game needs a new playing style where you can empty a dungeon via sex and camouflage. You'd have to become neutral to the faction of the dungeon, and then drain them dead by affection, so to say. And you'd have to level your succubus' skill of persuation e.g. in order to actually have sex; I believe, that PSQ is based on kisses with draining effect, too. Am I digressing again? Sorry.

 

A good way to offer something new to the whole subject would be to analyze what the modded game is missing so far, and how the existing parts could be implemented. I don't want to depreciate other succubs related mods, but since they "only" deliver parts of the topic, they might be just considered as framework. And what your idea could mean is uniting all those great mods into one immersive and (succubus) lore-conform topic. The foundations are already on the market: the race mod, draining, spells, the optics, alchemical / magical content (succubus heart), the abasement of moral when choosing to become a succubs (the apprentice mod) e.g.

 

One could take mods like "Sanguine's debauchery" and "Sisters of Dibella" as comparable projects. They combine various other mods and subjects into one, quest driven project. Now, with your idea as basic starting point (maybe by something comparable like the beacons of Meridia?), a whole story-line could unfold itself, giving new meaning and ideas to the other succubus mods. Promoting them from "nice gimmicks" into essentials for an actual gaming style - if one is so bold to claim that.

 

Nevertheless, I feel obliged to your endeavour, because when I was in "your position" and wanted to discuss my idea with someone, no one replied but you (content-related ideas). So I hope that you find something useful in my blathering; if all else fails, I've given the topic a push. Which can't hurt either. :blush:

Actually you bring up an interesting point, one of the things that I would like to see with regards to feeding, would instead of having it be "combat sex", your character is given the option to  become a kind of traveling prostitute with appropriate dialog that is as you said "neutral' to the bandit faction, from there the rest is self explanatory.
 

As far as being a way to unite some of the other mods, I guess a mod like this could do that, I mean maybe transformation could be one of the side affects of wearing the amulet as at least one of the mods has that feature.

When I read Succubus Amulet I thought of the cursed ring of Hircine and a few other things came to mind (this is a brilliant idea btw): 

 

1) Random transformations into Succubus from the Succubus race and have NPCs be immediately hostile to you;

2) Have a voice over (with added echo just like the daedra) "You MUST bone x amount of people blah blah blah", the echo effect will also help distract players from the voice acting;

4) Profit! 

 

Amulet gives you ability to transform whenever you want?  

 

How would the sex be initiated? Submit comes to mind, cause the dialogue there is lore-friendly and requires speech checks.  And if that fails! You can always rape with Submit!

Check the succubus subject in "Witcher 2": she is a demon who seduces the populace, living nearby in secrecy. Like a lurking shadow.. or the siren, that drove Odysseus and his crew mad. Not a fighter, not even willing to fight. It lives from the energy it drains from the ensnared victims.

 

The comparison to the ring of Hircine is good; but I'd give it much more influence. Just like the ONE ring it should corrupt the finder completely, so that at the end a mere mortal becomes a demon. Maybe it gives the wearer a strong debuff, if she or he doesn't comply. Just like a vampire in sunlight from Better Vampires: if you are well-fed, the effect is slim but persistent. If you refuse to "feed", you will die.

 

That's more like a playing-style framework - open for the inclusion of other prominent mods like "SL:DD" and PSQ e.g.; more focus on the quest, the transformation as a "mental developement". Not the actual looks ingame, I'd say.
