fejeena Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I don't know. ( but I remember that there was detailed instructions in the readme of the CM base/main Mod) But why ? You know CM companions is not the best companion Mod , especially if you play lovers ( can come to problems with animations ) Many people use CM companion NPCs but delete all the CM scripts( and the CM masterfile from the esp) and use MCS Mod. Why not use MCS ? http://www.loverslab.com/topic/1569-mad-companionship-spells-mcs-extension-humantouchnpc/ You can make any NPC your companion, by using a spell in game. You have commands, have access to the inventory,....
DogOnPorch Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Plus...you can make them 'Do Free' which lets them do their own thing while unused...or park them in a companion friendly house, etc. MCS + Human Touch is the way to go. Companion Share and Recruit is the other one, I suppose. It also has some pretty good elements like letting NPCs learn spells from scrolls. You can actually run the two mods (MCS & CSR) together without much fuss. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/3066/?
