Arcturus7777 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I have two jack MODs that add jack to the game as a race, and companion. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/60944/? this one I was able to copy the Mesh of Kberry body with BNB over the body and have bounce and pregnancy enabled. the face however is not very good. http://nightfable.deviantart.com/art/Mass-Effect-Jack-Fallout-New-Vegas-Mod-DL-540039225 this one has a perfect face, but the body has the clothing as part of it. I want to use the head of one and the body of the other, but since each author used a different naming convention, and I am new at modding I do not know which textures to copy and rename. this is an in game capture of the first mod this is a game capture of second mod
Guest endgameaddiction Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 The difference between both is very simple. xazmons version uses the fallout female vanilla head and type3 (or type3 variant). Not sure which but I know it's one of them. The one off of deviant art is ripped from the original game and converted to nif and dds, rigged and weighted to work for Fallout 3/NV. The problem is that the head and body are not compatible with anything based off of Nexus unless the UV map matched the same as the type 3 (or variants) and the vanilla head mesh. And the result you see in the second image with xazomn's Jack tats textures on the type 3 body clearly shows that it's a different UV map. It's more than likely the head mesh for the ripped version will not work well with any type 3 body without giving you some neck gap in between. To fix it you'll have to do the work in Blender to fix this. Otherwise settle with it the way it is. Or do the tats for the body on the ripped version.
