Benevon Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 This is a pretty minor issue, just one that bugs me a little. There seems to be an issue with one of the Devious/Sexlab mods that causes hair to poke through hoods. Does anybody know if there is a way to fix this? There are no errors anywhere for it, the hair just doesn't seem to "unequip" upon wearing any type of hood.
myuhinny Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 If the hoods are from one of the mods then you need to check the hoods using CK (creation kit) and check and see if the hoods have the hair slot ticked or not. Or if it is a hood made for some hairs find the one that doesn't clip out.
Benevon Posted December 27, 2015 Author Posted December 27, 2015 No, they are vanilla hoods, which is what has me boggled. I thought, perhaps, something to do with one of the devices (maybe the collar)?
Dreamweaver Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Is it happening with all hairs or just a particular style? The only similar thing I've seen is with one of the KS Hairdos, and that's because the hair and hairline meshes are incorrectly set up to use the body slot rather than the hair slot. It's the style used by Delphine in Bijin Warmaidens, called "Perry."
Benevon Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 It does seem as though the hairstyle I was using was more prone to heavy clipping than others, with a few having very small, hardly noticeable, clipping. But they are all vanilla hairstyles *shrug* Certain hoods (like the Nightingale) and most helmets were unaffected. It seemed to just clip heavily through the smaller hoods like the Thieves Guild and apprentice hoods. I'm going to check and see if the mod I was using to wear circlets under hoods is the cause, though it didn't have any issues until installing Sexlab based mods. For the time being, I've just chosen a hairstyle that has the least amount of clipping.
