Currently its rather bright, i found one mod called Darker Nights, but for some reason it made the torches light up like the sun as well as shine through other objects like in RLO as well as having torches give off light similar to candlelight instead of fire. I'm not using an ENB at the moment but if that makes it darker too, i'd love to know.

Doesn't CoT have its own darker nights included? I remember using that for a while... But I ended up switching to pure weathers because CoT messed with the lighting too much.

Edit: as for enb I am fairly sure they can darken the nights, I never added any specific darker nights mod just the enb and pure weathers, and my nights are nearly pitch black, with the added bonus of still having functioning torches. (which was my biggest issue with CoT, I hated how it made light sources worthless, could only see a few inches around even with wearable lanterns on maximum brightness  :dodgy: )

i like pure weathers nights, but the day time looks too blue.

last time i used CoT they had like 3-5 choices for darker night included in the fomod. I use realistic dark nights atm . but if your already using CoT what you do is remove the dark night mod (it is probably conflicting with your CoT), and turn brightness down in video settings, if you play in borderless windowed mode like me download and install Imaginator and just use the brightness slider (don't mess with anything else).
