Mochahotte Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 I've poked around and seen a number of threads with this subject; but nothing dated to this year and even then they were only...related? So the thing I wanted to ask is, does anybody know of some mods that allow for races with hooves - faun or satyr in particular. Already seen plenty of succubi and Dranei things, and those aren't really what I'm looking for. Also preferably something that works with CBBE, as I don't want to go through the trouble of playing with BodySlide 2 again to shape up a bod I want for the game. If not a race, a mod that allows for hoof footwear is also a big help. So far I've only found Driinkiin (Deer Born) on Nexus, which is certainly nice and has fun perks to go with it; but I've definitely seen some nicer stuff made out there, at least as far as snapshots go.
rand0m84 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Nuska's resource pack has all the components for a faun race (hooves, antlers, deer tail, fur texture etc.) but not an actual race mod.

Swiftstep Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 There should be the complete texture set included in the DL - you could create a custom race with the files you have from the nexus. There should be very detailed guides on how to create a custom race - with no expert knowledge needed. Might be a long shot, but what is there to lose.

But the community prefers to help people, instead of delivering them all they want. Meaning: if you start to work on it, and should run into a dead end, go right ahead and ask - it is very likely that you will constructive feedback here. But should wait for someone else to do the work, while you do nothing, the results will most likely by tending zero. That is, of course, just for your info - please don't get me wrong. LL has a very helping community, that's for sure.

It has a few kinks to it I can't seem to work out, but beyond that I do love it, and moreso because of the armor copy he comes with so you can play as one too! (Not to mention with commands you could practically make a whole army of NPCs done up as minos. >=D ) I also coupled in a few other mods to add to the experience - listing them here should anyone else wanna give them a shot or maybe wants to try out their own thing. Downside is NPCs seem uninterested in keeping it equipped if there's something else in their inventory - which is also weird because the gear is pretty strong and I think comes with a buff or two. His hooves also fit to other bodies/characters as well, so that's a good starting piece for minotaur characters if nothing else works out, though they do sadly clip with legs. Funny thing I noticed was that the cows in Skyrim all have Khajiit tails. Dunno what Bethesda was doing there, but whatever - this does work for emulating the look, plus comes in a variety of colors to choose from. Driinkiin Race: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60888/? A WIP mod. These're more deerfolk than bovine, but the models are pretty nice and decent to mix n' match. Makes for decent blending with Dagmar's minotaur legs possibly, if you don't like the hooves they come with already. Also comes with some nice little additional bits like custom-enchanted gear, a transformation, and a new starting point. Normal penises work as well, but I kinda prefer these for the more beasty / monster kind of look. Aaaand I think that's pretty much it. Within the 100+ things I got, these would be all that may be needed for someone to mod up their own came for some moos of their own to play with. At least until I or someone else comes up with something better ( I wouldn't wait for me personally to do it though, sorry... :'D ) If anybody else has more ideas, feel free to post 'em!
