I cannot install: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34442/?because NMM crashes every time I use anything since using Windows 10. I tried to manually install but it still won't work. Females still have the default bodies. What should I do?
Ventus2111 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Enable Archive Invalidation. First, NMM is NOT, and I really mean NOT optimized for Oblivion. Many Oblivion mods were made before NMM existed. Use OBMM, it's the best one for Oblivion. Some say Wrye Bash is better, but OBMM is the only mod manager that can open .omod files (for example, Darnified UI, the mod that makes the Oblivion interface a lot better, comes in an .omod file). I would give you a guide or a tutorial about modding Oblivion, but most are old and every of them is different from another and also I don't know a perfect one. Anyway, this tutorial seems to be good, you can look at it for help (look at "archive invalidate").
gregathit Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Archive invalidation via bsa redirection is what you want to do. If that doesn't work, then you probably have oblivion or steam installed in program files, and you will need to move them out of there.
