I saw his previous mod. I may contact him and see if he's interested in merging mods. However, my mod will be a bit different from some other vault meat related mods. I'm basing a lot of the icons faithfully on the vanilla icons, there will be a lot of custom content, and as shown in the special icons I've posted, some icons will have a lot of frames, making them rather smooth.

 

But if someone wants to use their icons with Vault Girl Mod it should be possible.

That mod doesn't actually work completely yet. I had several bugs/issues when using any of the provided versions.

Sorry for the comments, but looking at the re-do of the icons I can't help but get the "butch bitch" feeling on some of them.

Again, I have no idea how to Mod F4 (yet, still learning), but the two icons might be changed for "girlier" animation.

In particular the Charisma and Agility.

- With the charisma, that is a very "guy" motion. A girl action could be with her hand on her hip and blowing you a kiss. That would signify a "female charisma" much better, in my opinion.

- Agility, doing a peruet would probably be more "girly". Bouncing on a bottle is so a "Bro, hold my bear and watch this" action =)

 

That being said... I can't draw for the life of me, so I can not even imagine how hard it is to create these. So if I'm going way overboard, I apologize.

 

Otherwise, can't wait to see the mod!

As I have mentioned - I can't draw for the life of me... But I used to be quite decent with Flash on a professional level.

Got the decompiler and will see where that leads me.

I've got a question, will this change for both genders or just female? I love what you're doing here, but if I ever wanted to play male, I'd still like to keep your mod.

 

I hope you truly finish this, one of the mods I'm looking out for so far.

While I like your idea for the charisma icon. I currently don't plan on redoing it. I'm pretty busy and there is a lot of other stuff I'm more interested in working on (such as the bounty of icons I have yet to edit). Also nutluck is right the nsfw one will be different. I may revisit the charisma icon some day because I do like that idea. I don't want to change agility though. I'm far to attached to seeing that pose (because it's pretty hot). Also in generally I want to stay rather true to the icons in the game, and my vision of this Vault Girl as being sort of a badass. Also I can't help it I got a thing for tomboys.

As far as I know there is no way to make an icon mod only work for one gender so both genders are effected.

 

Oh and here is one icon I have been working on. May add some more movements and frames but this is my version of the SFW Lover's Embrace icon.

Here are some other things I've worked on lately:

 

What do you think about the sunglasses? I'm going to have them in the critical vats icon too. I may modify the hair some we will see. I'm going to bed now. Busy Christmas!

 

Also I am working on the inventory icons and other stuff. Btw the modder usernamed 'passage' figured out a way to get my icons into the menu files.

As for some texture locations, I don't know if this helps but I was fooling a bit around myself replacing textures, and these are some of the vault posters and also the bobblehead if you were thinking of maybe making a vaultgirl bubblehead

Yeah, I hope if there's a problem or setback, it's only temporary. This was/is one of my most anticipated mods.

 

I understand it's a big undertaking, and maybe bigc doesn't have the time or motivation to continue. But he/she's already made a huge amount of progress, hopefully they'll release what they have or pass the torch.

 

Bigc, please give us a sign or some closure.

The posts on your twitter are amazing. I never used your FO3/NV mods, but those posters/billboards are crazy-good quality, and I'd totally use the NV vault girl if it ever comes back.
