Jedlock01 Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I've downloaded a couple of 18+ mods and installed using NMM as well a few G rated files. All the the other meshes and textures work fine but non of the 18+ mods display. I have tried removing all the mods and simply running one a t a time to test again only the kid friendly stuff works. Anyone have a solution?
Yuni Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 A recent patch on Fallout 4 causes it so that whenever the game is booted through Bethesda's launcher, all ESP's are disabled as 'plugins.txt' is overwritten. Open your mod manager of choice and ensure all your mods are enabled, then boot the game through the Fallout 4 Script Extender launcher instead. Bethesda, for some -strange- reason, does not want people using mods yet. I don't pretend to understand it.
Jedlock01 Posted December 22, 2015 Author Posted December 22, 2015 I usually launch through NMM. Its only 18+ mods that will not work is there a line in the fallout_default.ini that might be the culprit?
Akzyra Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 What mods exactly aren't working? Beth could supress mods like SexLab, but not mesh or texture replacers. It would be probably possible but I think that requires that much investment that they will not do it. Hey, modders have to fix their stuff. Thankfully this game can be modded, others can only be fixed by the devs...
